Jaycar Electronics Geelong

Having come here for years, I have never experienced such amazing customer service. Kaden was extremely knowledgeble, quick and in no way a forceful salesman. He provided us with many options and sound knowledge. I'm not someone who leaves reviews, but this young gentlemen is fantastic at his job. He truely went above and beyond.

First retail shop we have visited in a while that provided excellent customer service. Very attentive, helpful but not pushy. Made us want to buy something (which we did). This is how you compete with online shopping. We'll done.

I want to say thank you to the gentleman who seemed to be the manager and another young gentleman at the counter for their fabulous customer service! Despite my friend and I having no clue where to start looking for an item, the staff looked after us really well and made us feel very welcome! Many thanks!

Great customer service. I was after something very specific and they were cool to chat with me about finding a solution. Will be returning to keep rigging up my electronic shenanigans again, for sure.

Fantastic service at Jaycar Geelong store. The knowledge displayed by staff was exceptional, they were more than happy to provide options based on budget and didn’t just push the most expensive. Highly recommended for anyone chasing serious solutions for their electronic dilemmas.

David was very helpful today. Helped to update our online account, and add points that were missed from our receipts. He even rang and gave us an update on the problem and rang again to say it had been rectified. Well done!

I went into this store to get some automotive wire a young woman helped me out and she was great, my only reason for 2 stars is the smell in the store, if you’re dealing with customers use deodorant, it’s the second time I’ve been to this shop and it’s the same both times, lift your game boys

Friendly fantastic service - gave them a list of items to purchase and they went through it and the next day I got what they had and will get the rest online thanks so much!

I bought a rotary drill set and not sure why but the small drills were coming off (I use them the most so is that it?) Still covered within one year warranty so thanks:) got a new working one to replace the old one hopefully they know what happened to it!

Great place to get 3D printing filaments as well!

Staff has always been happy to help and assist me in finding items / giving recommendations - and I've frequented the place every now and then in the past year. I'd recommend jaycars!

Purchased a light switch for my truck. It was not suitable because of the mount size. Went in today to get a refund 20 odd days after purchase as l live 40 minutes away. Not just around the corner. Told l could not get a refund because it was more than 7 days since date of purchase.
Told l could purchase something else. I responded that normally trading terms are 30 days and that l will never purchase from there
What an arrogant Manager

Today I visited the Geelong Jaycar store to return a $8.95 product that I purchased not long ago. I found I didn't need this product and I would return to the store when I needed to purchase another product. The sales person told me no refund would be given because I bought this item 1 month ago and was outside the store 7 day return policy. Well one would not expect a person drive into town just for a low value item I thought. I came to not only return this item but to buy a UHF Radio and a Mini Drone for my grandson. I was so dissapointed that the salesman didn't even offer to take $8.95 off my next purchase. So they missed out on a $400.00 purchase.
Is this a good policy and customer service for a store in 2022?
Perhaps the salesman needs retraining in how to look after good customers.
I will never shop there again.

Very disappointed with the return policy. If more than 7 days you are forced to exchange. No refund or store credit.

Great place for gifts and gadgets and those items that are not available in other retailers from CCTV and electronics to outdoor power products

Very disappointed, spent 15 minutes in store today most of which was in front of strip lighting scratches my head, not one staff member asked if I needed help. Spent $70 elsewhere

Had a problem with a product i purchased.took it back to the store in geelong and was treated with the utmost respect and patience. No argument, gave me a total refund and made it all so easy.it was not a cheap item and I am very happy with the way the manager handled the situation right from the start. Very happy customer and I will be going back for sure.well done guys.

I couldn't have asked for anything better. The friendly, helpful service was great, as I was asking questions about items I had no idea about.

Bought 4 vhf marine radios recently and the bloke who served me was great, sorted me a spare battery as well.

For the times I have visited for a browse I always get asked for any help that I may need.

Great local electronics store. Has everything electronic, from components to many useful devices. If its electronic they will more than likely have it. Give these guys a go. A locally owned franchise store.
