Great shopping g for all sorts of electronic things saw some great 12v fridges/freezers at bargain prices

Had the misfortune of looking for my requirement’s at this store have been there in the past no problem but this occasion found the Service poor, the guy that attended to me was rude and very unhelpful didn’t end up getting what I needed won’t be back

Just called Jaycar about their Alarm Battery @ 12.15pm 6/4/23 for $36.95 and said I'd like to buy from them as they are local to me, but I said the price was a bit expensive considering i can get the same same spec battery from Cable Pro Online with FREE delivery for $27.08 (delivered in 2-3 business days) Jaycar Frankston said if ya order more I can reduce the price, but can't do a better price for you for 1. Wow, you are getting these batteries wholesale for approx $14 and wont even take $3 off the price to make a sale. Sad times, and now they lost $19.95 profit and what ever else i would had impulsed bought in the store. Unless you are buying a 50c resistor, do an ebay search for your item and you will most likely find it about 70% cheaper. (for example about 5 yrs ago I saw 5mt of LED lights with remote for about $70 in Jaycar, then bought it on Ebay for $22 delivered) If I was the store owner, I would be training the staff to get people inside the shop.

Went there today to find about getting a charger for an item i had i don't know much about electronics. So asked somene who works there if they had it got told no go look on line. Still don't know what to ask for to look on line No help and rude.

Our King’s campervan fridge suddenly stopped working for which l expected to have to buy a new fridge. Taking the electrical cord to this Jaycee outlet for checking and expecting the worst, I was delighted when the manager quickly diagnosed the problem as merely a blown fuse in the plug, a replacement fuse costing a mere 90c in contrast to what I thought was going to be 100s of $$$ for a new fridge. I’d have given five stars except for the manager’s undisguised irritation and gruffness throughout. I’ll still return to that business but hope to seek out a salesman with a less abrasive attitude.

Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Their advice prevented me from making a very costly error.

Always fresh fish and seafood at competitive prices. Great selection of whole fish, filleted fish and shellfish. Been to many good seafood retailers over the years. This is as good as you get.

Be careful if anything doesn't Yeah work properly their return policy stinks their service is terrible Avoid display at all costs

Really rude manager the floor staff had no idea what he was doing. They wouldn't match an online price on a product so they clearly don't need the sales. Will do all my electronic shopping online now.

The management has recently changed and it seems all the knowledgeable folks who were working at Frankston Jaycar has been made redundant. It is a shame since the new sales managers don't know anything about electronics (can't even answer a simple question about a simple relay). Moreover, the store manager (Steven) is extremely grumpy and kills any desire to shop at that place. Thank God we still have Jaycar in Mornington with good guys there. I would suggest to do your shopping for DIY overthrew and don't waste your time at Frankston.

Called up recently with some questions regarding rechargeable batteries and the guy who Answered the phone was rude and uninterested.

They are very rude and disappoint on the phone. I call them and ask the guy do you have plastic enclosure whit 150mm height? He answered we have a lot of enclosure, you can bring a meter to measure them! Whereas when I ask same questions from other jaycar shop, the guy have look to website even measure them and then answer me in polit way. The customer service of this shop is below zero star

The manager David at frankston store was rude. Been going to jaycar for years and never had such rude service and this time it was click and collect. Hate to have been in store having to deal with him.

Fantastic! Great staff, more than happy to help you find that one weird part for the random obscure project you've been putting off since Christmas. I could just about live in this store, guess it's lucky they don't sell coffee and bagels, or they may find me camping under the heat shrink.
Really good value on most things they stock.
Brilliant warranty service too, most of the time they don't even ask what happened, they just nod and replace it.
