Jaycar Electronics Ballarat

I rang beforehand to make sure I could get what I wanted. Polite young person on counter said hello when I arrived. There was no evidence of a customer being served, so I said what I wanted. I was told to wait until he had serviced his current customer. Waited for a while in front of another sales person showing a 'new person' the computer. No acknowledgement. Finally, some service. Apparently, what I wanted could not be done. That was disappointing, but the condescending, self-righteous, frankly sexist attitude was unforgivable. I will not go in to this shop again. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

It’s so good that jaycar has finally graced us with a proper shopfront in Ballarat. After much delay and multiple postponed electronics projects the store is finally able to open its doors to the public!

I entered this establishment purely to inspect the wares on sale. I had not intended to purchase anything however I could not resist the purchase of a couple duratech screwdrivers. My personal favourite when it comes to screwing and unscrewing things.

I almost purchase me a soldering iron that was on sale though thanks to a great deal of personal discipline on my part I decided not to purchase (for now).

Store is closed yet says it’s open.

I will remove the 1 star once I know the store is actually open for walk in business
