Great customer service and professionalism from Ali in explaining remedies to my WIFI issue. After 2 years of stuffing around I finally got it fixed, thanks to Ali. 5 stars for the quality of products and knowledge from the JayCar team, specifically Ali on this occasion.

Steve was very helpful diagnosing an issue I was having with my solar set up and provided the right equipment to get it going again and prevent recurrence. Cold beers while camping are essential.

Went to by micro SD card to SD adapter and SD to USB adapter. Although when I got home, nothing worked.

Max provided exemplary customer service when I returned, helping to quickly troubleshoot and solve the issue. I left happy and ready to tackle my project. I can't commend Steve and Max highly enough!

As an electronic dumb dumb the staff here are most hospitable. Helped me solve a problem I had no idea about. Numerous visits here received the same high quality service. The boss even intervened to help and he was attending to other work at the time.

I love this place. I come here for all my diy needs and any electronic parts and tools. Huge variety. Plenty of parking. Helpful staff. Prices are reasonable. You can probably find cheaper online, but you can't get such good help online.

Staff are always professional polite and friendly. Their product knowledge is second to none and always helpful when questions are asked.

I dropped in at 4 pm on Sunday to pick up a HDMI adaptor. I had checked on line the day earlier to make sure the adaptors were available and Jaycar would be open. I walked in and was ignored by staff behind the counter. I checked for the adaptor and couldn't find it so went back to the counter where a rude Sales men after trying to ignore me again, begrudgingly asked if I wanted anything? I told him what I was after and was told they didn't sell them. I informed him I had checked on line and they were listed. He rudely said, "well do you have an item number". I said I didn't and he vaguely waved at a corner of the shop where he said some adaptors were. I checked the area only to find it was the wrong part of the shop and still couldn't find the adaptor. I left and went to Springvale Jaycar and was greeted with a smile as I walked in, I told them what I was after and was cheerfully directed to exactly where the adaptors were located. I told the helpful staff member of my experience at the Cheltenham store and he apologised on their behalf and agreed that it was hard when Sales staff were not invested in what they were doing. The sales staff at Cheltenham made no attempt to look up the item I was after or make any effort to serve me at all. FYI the product number of the Digitech Audio Visual HDMI socket to HDMI Socket adaptor is PA-3640 and Jaycar defiantly do sell them, it is just a shame I had to go to 2 Jaycar shops to get some one to actually serve me and sell me one.

Was average but the staff there didn't seem all that interested in any kind of service. I felt very uncomfortable when I walked in.they probably judged me before anything else.

First thing in the morning, coming in for a simple power supply. Asking the guy at the register gave me nothing but a shockingly rude attitude for a simple question. Turns out he was the owner of the business. If that's the standard of service for this business, I fear for their future. Do not go here. You'll be treated like rubbish

Extremely rude terrible customer service, im a frequent customer to this store spending thousands of dollars at this store, i have recently bought a few things totalling to the amount of $200, one being an LED light strip for my room i have installed the light strip in my room and it worked great for the first time and then it started flickering and stopped working, theodore the service assistant who when i came back for a refund helped me, was extremely rude trying to insist that i have broken it and making me feel very uncomfortable in the store.very dissapointed i will not be shopping here again and will tell people of my experience.

Very handy store for hobbyists and tradies. Ample parking spaces which makes it very convenient.

Can't speak for those who had a bad experience here but my experiences completely contradict them.
Owner went out of his way to repair my car alarm controller and siren, this saved me purchasing a new system.
All other visits have been good.
