Came here on Labour Day weekend, didn’t get the massive crowds like other farms do which I actually like. The only thing in season was strawberries and raspberries, but the latter I couldn’t find any worth picking as it was quite sour. The strawberries though were delicious and sweet. It was a lot of fun but did get quite warm out there, so wear something loose and comfortable. We also bought some of their Nashi pears and they were outstanding and better than what I’d normally get.

Great place for kids to have fun dayout at! The strawberries are extremely juicy and sweet! You can also enjoy a berry flavored slushy to cool down after the berry picking. We have been twice, and enjoyed it every time!

Jays berries is run by wonderful friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Their website and socials have the latest in season and up to date picking schedule so worth checking that out before heading in.
The farm is very big so can accommodate a lot of people and crop.
We scored lots of raspberries, blackberries and strawberries.
The kids enjoyed a slushi as well!
Dogs are welcome here but must be well behaved and on lead.
If you’re planning on coming during summer, sun cream, hats and water is recommended.
It’s also great for a BYO picnic near the hedges as that stays shady for quite some time.
No cafe or coffee on site.

Always great for picking strawberries. My boys also love a frozen drink & a tractor ride. The ride is great because the driver also stops for a little educational chat about different parts of the farm.

We love Jay Berries. The kids have a ball picking the fruit and the frozen berry drinks are so refreshing after all that work. The tractor rides are fun for the kids too. Great day out!

Great day out. However, we had to pay $15 just to berry pick and then you pay approximately $6 per kg of whatever berries you picked. It's still cheaper than the supermarkets but really, are you going to eat all the berries you actually picked? ! No way. So it's a bit of a rip off.
It was however a great one-off experience, and the child really enjoyed it (although we just happened to choose a really hot day). It would also help of the berry store actually had coffee! Just saying!

Strawberries are really sweet and supply was good. The kids didn't like the Slushy and there's no ice cream and no coffee.

It was raining on and off but overall great fun to pick lots of tasty strawberries and blueberries today. You don't get them so good at the supermarket.

Absolutely fantastic place to come berry picking. We've been berry picking many times, but this was our favourite place so far. We arrived around 9: 45 AM and there were already quite a few people there - even more when we left!
They provide containers and baskets to carry the produce in. We got some great tips for which areas still had great produce to pick from. Berries are very reasonably priced, great quality and don't seem like they use too many chemicals (there were lots of small insects on the bushes. We will definitely be returning!

We knew it was going to be a good place when we were so warmly greeted by the farm's resident labrador.
The team are so friendly and helpful and there is so much fruit on offer. Raspberry canes are abundant, strawberries are fragrant and juicy and the blackberries are sweet flavour bombs.

Prices are very reasonable for the fruit and for the jams and cordial.

Really juicy and large strawberries and sweet and heaps of blackberries. Even blue berries, even though we were at the end of the season

We went on a day with a drizzle but was still able to enjoy. Awesome place with good open spaces and friendly staff. Strawberry and blackberry were of abundance - tasty and fresh. They have in-house made jam and juices for sale too. Highly recommended.

A very accommodating lady greeted us when we arrive. A huge, clean and nice farm. The blackberry are plenty. Its so nice to pick in there because there so many blackberries. Sorry but I think I ate more than I picked. The entrance fee is fair enough. A lot of strawberries to pick. They even have vegetables to pick, corn too. I'll surely be back.
