Jaws Fish & Chips

Whenever I want fish and chips on a Saturday night they seem to be closed.

Unsure what's going on!

We moved to the area a little while ago and love getting fish and chips from here, they have, by far, the BEST potato cakes. Sorry to hear they are temporarily closed, hope the health issues resolve okay, looking forward to when you are open again!

"Normal hours (11-8) resume from 10th of January", here at 4pm on 10th of January and they're not open. Keep your promises

I bought fried Whiting here and Flake for my wife. The whiting was good but the Flake had a strange taste to it and wife couldn't eat it.
The chips were good.

Had to throw fish away as it had a strong amonia smell. Also the potato cakes were so small and ridiculous, along with under supplying them. On the positive side, the chips were just OK. Definitely wont be going back there.

After asking for fish, potatoe cakes, crab sticks and dim sims not to be burnt what did l get, food that was burnt and virtually uneatable.
WASTE OF $35.
Won't go back there again and definitely do not recommend

Just ordered Grilled Blue Grenadier, beer batter barramundi, chicken schnitzel burger, potatoes cakes, onion rings and what a big disappointment. The grilled fish was slimy as it was pre battered in flour and then grilled way too much flour, the battered barramundi and the potato cakes were so thick that we couldn’t taste the fish and the potato. The chicken schnitzel burger was way too thick so much so that I couldn’t fit the burger in my mouth and the chicken didn’t look fresh. Please don’t waste your money, our food all just ended up in the bin.

Very disappointing to get home and find burnt potato cakes, fluoro yellow chips that were terrible tasting and what was ment to be grilled fish.that had more slimey batter than fish! This isn't the first time have been let down here but thought they deserved another chance. Should have just gone with the tasted cheese sandwiches for dinner!

10.90 for lunch box deal is insane! Had a great time taking food from here to ferntree quarry.cheers!

Very disappointed! I ordered fish bites, chips and potato cakes. Instead I got 8 burnt potato cakes, a few burnt chicken nuggets and a small amount of chips. I went back to return it, the door was closed and no one there. They could at least told me they are closing soon and run out if stock. Never ever buying from this shop.

Come in for lunch pretty sure the souvlaki was made from yesterday's meat and there was no salt on the chips at all fish was nice.

Just had souvlaki from Jaws. The best I've had for a long time. No fat or gristle, plenty of salad and sauce and the pita bread was not too thick. 3 of us all had the same and all said the same. Will definately go back there.

Must be pot luck. Went twice - ok. Third time flake & calamari inedible, like really disgusting & undercooked. Not offered any recompense when I informed them, shouldn’t have to ask.

I'm not at all happy!
I worked out the value of our order as there were eight of us buying and got charged over $10 more than the online menu prices
To add insult to unjury one of the flake smelt of ammonia and all three pieces were around the size that you'd get our of a frozen pack from the supermarket
The flake was returned and replaced but the price query was ignored
We won't be back

I have tried all fish and chip shops in the area and Jaws is definitely the best for taste freshness value for money and quick service
