Poor service and food exceptionally underwhelming! I should've known better. Go elsewhere

Ordered a takeaway iced latte in a takeaway coffee cup. Was charged eight dollars. Barely any coffee. What a rip-off. There were no prices before ordering. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else for an iced latte.

We like the food, just bacon bit too chewy. Will still coming back as its nice Atmosphere.

I usually like Jamaica Blue but this Mornington cafe is well below par. We waited 15 minutes for two coffees this morning. We didn't get our coffee until after we had asked staff "why the delay? ". This also happened last time I was there, about a week ago. While we were waiting we heard five other customers enquire why their coffee was taking so long. It seemed that no-one got their coffee until after they had enquired. We noticed that take-away customers were being prioritized (but they were still waiting a fair while). Also we noticed how filthy the floors were. We won't be back.

The worst steak sandwich ever! The “grilled scotch fillet” was just two paper-thin slices of deli sliced beef. The lettuce and tomato were so wilted, as though the whole thing had been put in a microwave. The bread was soggy, drenched with I don’t even know what! I paid $22 for that! If it wasn’t for the ok coffee and the offer to replace (which I turned down!), this cafe would not have even received 1 star from me.

9.50 for an egg and bacon roll.come on.at least cook the bacon properly. Please also train your staff to cook the milk properly for a coffee. Calibrate the machine, clean the grounds etc. No thanks.

Have been a customer & worked there. Unfortunately I was treated quite rudely & left. I left a full time position to work there only to be treated unfairly. Would not buy even a cup of coffee from there ever again.
They want good staff, but dont want to pay for it. I dont wish them well, cos you need to treat people right.
At least I can sleep well, knowing that anyone I come into contact with I have been friendly & treated them with respect- I cant say that about how the owners are operating that business.

There were 3 of us.
Table was not wiped down from previous people.
Meals came out very slow and it was like we were 3 separate customers.
I had chicken burger. Not good, just okay. My chips were the dried up ones from the last batch
Salad was limp leaves on a plate.
Husband had fish and chips. Fish overdone on outside.
Third meal was okay.

Great Service and staff. However the coffee is overpriced and the worst coffee I've ever had. The Barista requires more training.

A barista (name unknown), not only did NOT return my 50c change, but threw boiling coffee on me, currently writing from the hospital.

I had the pleasure of visiting Jamaica Blue Mornington Central recently and was truly impressed by my experience. The café is conveniently located in the shopping center near the entrance, making it an ideal spot for a quick break or a leisurely catch-up with friends.

The highlight of my visit was the exquisite mocha they served. It was a perfect blend of rich coffee and smooth chocolate, resulting in a delightful and indulgent treat. The quality of the coffee truly speaks for itself, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Had lunch on Anzac Day. There were three of us and unfortunately our meals didn’t come out together at the same time, also one meal had a runny egg when asked to be well done. Either way food was nice and staff friendly and I enjoyed my iced chocolate and sweet potato wedges which were filling for a snack and well priced.
Keen to return and give this new cafe another go and try something different.
Jamaica Blue has substantial spaced out seating and a nice open feel to the place and for this shopping centre it’s a great needed addition

The serving staff were lovely, the coffee was good, smoothie was good and that’s where it ended. We both ordered a meal with bacon. Bacon was nowhere near crispy and in one of the meals the bacon didn’t seem to be fully cooked. I ordered the avo smash. I asked for my egg to be well done but it was still very gooey. Because the meal was $18.90 I thought it was worth bringing to their attention. The waitress offered an egg to be re done so I asked if it could be fried. I had to eat my meal very slowly while I waited for the egg, which took a while! The egg I was presented with was a small circle, no white around it! To give you an idea of how small the circle was, it took two small bites! Perhaps the chef didn’t appreciate me asking for the egg to be replaced? Anyways there are a lot of very nice cafes in Mornington so if you want a meal for the same price I would suggest choosing somewhere else. But if you just want coffee and cake, Jamaica Blue should be sufficient and the nice girls who serve make it more pleasant. So all in all 10/10 for the serving staff, 2/10 for the ones cooking!

Unfortunately we were left disappointed, coffee was very bitter and unpleasant. Bacon on both our breakfast meals was extremely dry and definitely not freshly cooked. Won't be returning to try again
