Atmosphere is always energetic, prices are somewhat high though the food is very much worth it.

On the 22 March 23 in the morning, I ordered a big breakfast and whilst eating I found a long hair tangled in the mushrooms. I nicely called the waiter without making public attention. The waiter apologised and asked if I would like a refund or prepare another one. I opted to get another one. The waiter took my plate away but I already lost my appetite.
As it is an open kitchen, I observed a woman cooking the bacon using her bare hands and kept touching the bacon throughout the process. On top of that she was not wearing any hat.
I felt disgusted and I asked for a refund. A female manager refunded my money back, but did not seem happy and just handed my money in a rude manner without an appology.

We used to frequent this cafe quite a bit before covid and recently found ourselves there again. We were very disappointed to see what thia cafe has turned into.

The prices are very high for the amount of food that you get. Most things on the breakfast menu are basic and the addons are even more expensive. We opted for 3 simple scrambled eggs on toast (white bread) with no addons. Two coffees and a juice. Over $55.

What was really really disappointing was that there were absolutley no vegan or allergy friendly options. My son has allergies which require a vegan diet and he couldn't order a single item off the menu. He just had a single piece of toast. With many people experiencing allergies and food intolerances at least one item on the menu should be able to cater to their needs.

As former frequent customers we are sad to say we wont be returning.

Quite expensive- I think $13 for a ham&cheese toasty & prices aren't on the food in the display case.
Also, it had some sort of dressing that reacted with me. I thought a ham & cheese toasty would be a safe choice

Customer service was very lovely from the beginning. No menus on table, only 1 menu at the entrance which was occupied by other customers so we had to wait until they finished browsing, deciding and then ordering. No issue on this morning particularly but could be when busy.

Didn't take long for us to receive our food however coffees came out and had spilt on to the saucer not just a little but quite a lot and the ice chocolate wasn't very nice at all definitely would not recommend that.

Big breakfast was nice but compared to other cafe's very minimal and the cost to add things on is quite expensive. Eggs Benedict was okay, Sour dough toast was very hard and hollandaise sauce was almost tangy like. Eggs on toast was okay toast again was very hard and chewy not sure what happened there

Probably would not return, in comparison to somewhere like Coffee Club this definitely isn't worth it unfortunately.

The first time I came here we ended up being rushed to order at the counter, we ended up walking away. We decided to try again today. This time we were given the option to go to a table with a menu. The food was good, it came out hot and cooked well. However I feel that 1 lady in customer service could work on her skills a little. The same lady both times has been what seems like to us grumpy and rude.

Love this Jamaica blue, great people coffee is always good there food is good just a nice place for brunch!

This place was quite busy but the staff were friendly and the meals were quite nice. Lots on the menu to select from.

Excellent service and loved the taste of mocha. They serve breakfast and lunch too. Nice place to sit down and enjoy your meal

My wife and I went there for breakfast this morning after looking at the menu which was very limited we settled on eggs and bacon on toast I added mushrooms. My wife's food came out and I waited for mine to then see the stupid waitress take my plate to the customer who had arrived after we did. When we complained they appoligsed and said we are cooking it now My wife requested a discount since we were inconvinced there response was no. I demanded a refund and received it with some attitude from the owner and a mouthful of discussing words back from her right in front of other customers. After hearing what they heard from me when I was asked about what happened customers walked away in discust as they knew we were in the right after they heard the owner mouthing off in her establishment which was discusting. Never going there again, I'd rather starve next time. Very, very poor service and no communication from kitchen to wait staff. Absolutely discussed and to top things off being a restaurant never hecked ours or anyone's vaccination status as they were supposed to by law. They don't care about anything, just MONEY!

I've been visiting this place since the last 4 years, and initially loved it. But it's lost its charm. The food served now is not upto the mark, it lacks the dedication that goes into making one. Plating is so carelessly. Most times, they miss some ingredients that goes into making a meal. When asked they just say "new staff, sorry". I think I have to let go of my once upon a favourite place! Definitely not worth the money!

Went here for lunch on the weekend and absolutely LOVED it. The food was amazing and fantastic coffee. Great service, will definitely be going back. MUST TRY!

After messing up my order of fish and chips which took 20 minutes, Jamaica blue decided to charge me the difference of $2.80 and had me waiting an additional 15 minutes.

Unfortunately the extra wait and the extra cost did not make up for the bad customer service or the quality of the food

This was the first time I was able to visit a cafe after a long lockdown and it turned out to be a pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly and polite. The service was quick and neat. A very enjoyable Thursday morning. Thank you!

Fresh, delicious food & great coffee served in a comfortable and spacious environment.
I have been here many times and have always been favourably impressed.
They also have a range of newspapers if you're dining solo.

Well the service started out great but went down hill very quickly so the wife and I went for brunch I can't remember what my wife had but she said it was passable I had a crepe with scrambled eggs and bacon how can you muck that up easy for this store I said to the wife these eggs have no flavour she said let me try yep your right they are bland and the bacon was like concrete. Asked for a chocolate milkshake and a banana smoothie both came out in jam jars im not paying 6 and 8 bucks when I should be getting a proper milkshake container. No salt or pepper on the tables and if they come around one more time and ask me how is everything going im to scream

Eggs Benedict was so so so so good enjoy breakfast with the family lovely area.absolutely beautiful staff well mannered and was so warming and welcoming cheers will come back for more ️

Yummy iced coffee - just wish it was a bit stronger and came with 3 or 4 shots for a nice caffeine hit - the flavours were great though
