Jai Ho Indian Restaurant berwick

Today we went out for dinner here and the food tasted a bit average and wasn’t too bad but for the soft drink i brought from outside which was around 300 ml and I put that on the table but the lady didn’t even acknowledge us that they will charge if we bring outside drinks. She didn’t tell us anything until at the end we asked for the receipt then only she told us we got charged extra $3.50 for “corkage”. She knew she saw the bottle on the table and it was there for more than an hour and never told us anything about this rules and it was only this restaurant so far and other restaurants never did this. Very bad service and bad way to take money from customers. Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this to anyone else and be careful and always check before you pay and after pay make sure to get the receipt please thank you.

Been last night for dinner. We ordered special jai ho chicken, which was not good at all. Chicken was not cooked and the taste was horrible. We ordered dal tadka as well, which was tasteless. Starters were dry and pappadum were fried and kept, not fresh at all. Very very disappointed with the food quality. Will never never recommend to any one.
Waste of money and time.

Really really impressed! So many mixed reviews here but as a vegetarian I felt like I had decent options of what to get and everything I ordered was well above expectations! My new go to for Indian in this area for sure

First time visit tonight and I'm blown away with the quality, the complex flavours, texture of the dishes. It was such a surprise from the onion bhaji entree through the mains and dessert. This is a gem which I will be eating at again.the best meal I've had by far for a very long time. You must try this family owned business. Service was great very friendly and explained about dishes that I had no clue about. The roast veg curry made me think I can eat less meat if it could taste like that. Outstanding.

Another lovely meal on a very cold night. Veg entre platter, mains 36 and 54 with roti, and desert of kulfi pastacio. Filling and delicious. Thanks again Jai Hi.

Super duper North Indian food at it's best. Well miantained restaurant, friendly staff, hygenic restaurant. Delicious food.

Honestly the best Indian cuisine I have eaten in years. The dishes are complex and delicious.none of that over-sweet pureed slop like many restaurants. The meat is tender, veggies fresh, and all beautifully balanced. Samosas, paratha and tandoor chicken, all excellent too. The icing on the cake is that the prices are some of the best around. Could recommend enough.

Hi food was good but if you pay full amount to your take way food they never give you full food must check it front of them and rude talk on phone when you complaint there food is not proper.

When two curries look and taste the same, you know it’s not authentic. Below average taste and the food is unappealing to the eyes.

Ordered paneer butter masala which was so sweet. I feel like I am eating dessert with chilli in it. Not a happy customer.

The food was good and pleasant environment. But my dish was hurriedly taken when I just nearly finished, asking few times if I need anything else to order. I felt pressured, rushed and needed to get out quickly.

Great food and service, very friendly owners. Had our work Christmas function here, accommodating and everybody loved the food, highly recommend.

We have ordered for naan and the curry. It was really good. I would love to taste the other food as well! Hopefully soon!

One of the worst experience.just order some food last night.bad smell coming out of daal.make kids sick.try calling restaurant and the lady Work there have no sense how to talk to customer. I just recommend not get sick with food and service.and of course talking about the Asian lady who someone else given reviews. I wish have read the reviews before ordering the food.also nothing to do with price.first food and then service by the lady.wish they have some sort of management

I have never had indian food that had just no flavour it was bland dull and boring.
