Jai Ho Indian Restaurant - Richmond reviews
66Overall experience was excellent. Food was delicious and the staff was also very friendly throughout. Loved the butter chicken and dal makhni. One of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne!
Worked there in 2015 as kitchen hand for one week and unpaid, i was my first job in Australia, so was not sute about process.stop abusing international students.
Absolutely amazing experience. We had baby shower party here. The food was extremely good, service was quick and easy, interior is beautiful with the wallpapers and lamps, plenty of space, nice ambience. Flexible to work around one's need for parties. I highly recommend this restaurant. A must try for everyone!
We had function in this restaurant and all my guests liked the food very much.everything was fresh n tasty. Highly recommended. Food and service was awesome. Jai ho Richmond thank you again
Jai Ho Indian Restaurant is a culinary gem that captures the true essence of Indian cuisine. With its authentic flavors and delightful dishes, it's a must-visit for a memorable and mouthwatering dining experience.
Very good customer service & food is amazing.
Hot & Sour soup reminded me of India
Very disappointed with the curry we came from Melbourne CBD as heard this place was good. Naan was very thin almost like roti and tiny. Beef curry tasted more like stew and chicken in another curry was overcooked. Service was good and quick, wish food matched the quality of service. Didn't find the curries authentic Indian more suited to European taste
Phoned my order in, the Owner pleaded ignorance to the website menu when I asked why my order was above the online cost and SAID, "it's out of date". When I got home the order was wrong. The Owner put down Curry with onion rings. My order was for a curry with rice. The rudeness is OFFENSIVE! Never going back to Richmond.
'Creative Dishes' that were 'Beautifully Presented' and were 'Very Yummy'? ️? Very Good Service & Ambience ️. A 'Must Try' in Melbourne
PS - Had a good Wine, Whiskey & Beer Options to choose from Too.
Love this place, walking distance and great food. AND they give you a real menu.not something you need to read off your phone! Going back again.
Worst service untrained staff. Dirty plates. Plastic in ice cream. Overpriced food. Staff laughing at genuine question about food.
Probably my favourite indian restaurant in melbourne. We always get a saagwalla and butter chicken. Coconut rice. Garlic naan and lately onion baji. Food is always so good. Service is top notch. Great place to go when you love a good curry
The best Indian food ever had in Melbourne and there are different varieties in starters and specially the samosa chat is the best also the fast and good service.
If it’s possible I would’ve given it 0 or less star
Worst ever Indian restaurant not worth even a penny biryani was some mushy rice
Quantity and quality both were very disappointing for sure never going back in there
Was in a rush and didn't have a booking. Great service and were very quick. Food fresh and tasty.
Went here for a birthday dinner last night, absolutely amazing service and the food was to die for! We ordered a variety of different curries and they all were so rich and delicious in flavour, would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you love your curries!
Nice service, delicious Indian food. They also serves Alcohol. Parking not available. Reasonable price.
I don't know why it took me so long to try eating here. It was really good. It's a big restaurant with quite an extensive menu and reasonably good, attentive service (other than when it took them forever to clear away the dishes after walking past us multiple times and never looking at us). The food was delicious and I'd love to try it again. Everything we ate was really good and we were all happy with our meals. We will be back.
Had been to Jai Ho restaurant 2-3 times, food and service was really appreciative.
Then we organised a big party for family and friends and it was also a hit with great food and happy guests. Great job done by the restaurant. Definitely a place to go.
