Jacqui B Photography Workshops

I am so grateful to have stumbled across Jacqui B Photography!
I joined Jacqui for an 'explore Melbourne' workshop after years of being stuck on 'auto' mode. Jacqui not only explained the technical aspects of my particular camera but also how to take a great photo in a way that was easy to understand and so much fun!
She is patient, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable on all aspects of photography and the skills and information she shares is worth far more than the very reasonable cost of the session. I had a ball with Jacqui and look forward to attending other workshops of hers in future.
If you're thinking of taking a workshop with Jacqui B - do it! You will not regret it (seriously 5 stars are just not enough!).

I am going to put it out there. I have been to so many photography workshops but I have never been to one as good as Jacqui B Photography.

Jacqui has passion and you can just see how much she loves to teach. She has patience and so much knowledge.

I asked so many questions, but she didn't even care. She answered each one and things she didn't know she found out for me and let me know.

If you are looking for a photography teacher, Jacqui is the perfect choice. I was visiting from Queensland and decided to take Jacqui's Melbourne workshop. I have now been out with her 3 times. Each time I come down, I will book her again.

Where do I start?
Jacqui is one of the most talented, patient and inspiring ladies I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
After seeing a social media post of an incredible shot of Melbourne Flinders Street Station, we made a group booking over Summer to try to see if we could recapture that same magic.
Jacqui led us through the city on a beautiful and warm Summer’s night, taking photos of what ever caught our eye.
Some of us ate cake and carried the coffee, while others focussed on the art of photography.

She was so so so patient with some of us (ok, one of us.) We had the BEST time and picked up so many tips. I’m hoping to book back in this Summer.

You don’t have to be good at photography. Treat yourself to a cool little lesson and get amongst it. Melbourne is so beautiful and Jacqui will always be there to support you long after the lessons are over. Highly Recommended.

Cannot recommend Jacqui B Photography workshops enough! What a lovely lady with incredible talent. My son has done a few classes now and Jacqui really took the time with him and what wonderful photos. You've helped him to capture amazing photos and taught him so much, Thankyou for spending the time with him and I love this photo that you helped him edit and he now has a copy up in his room. I took the workshop of harbour and light today. Jacqui was very knowledgeable and professional. I have learned a lot from her, especially for night light's photos. Thanks a lot.

I have learnt so much attending Jacqui B Photography courses. She is very patient and puts her heart and soul into every lesson. If you are new to using a camera or experienced photographer you will learn a lot and want to come back again.

Fantastic Floral Photography Workshop at Alowyn Gardens

Jacqui is a great photography teacher and I enjoyed our day at Alowyn Gardens so very much, As a Bridal Florist photographing flowers brought me so much joy. Jacqui awas also able to critique some of our photos in a very constructive way, which I felt added a lot of value to this session as she encouraged us to think more creatively when taking photos.

We were also taught how to set up our camera for different types of photo's such as portrait's, landscape. We were also taught how to use the manual settings, which made us think about aperture, shutter, ISO more and more when we would take our shots

I will attend more classes with Jacqui B Photography and highly recommend Jacqui to anyone wanting to learn how to use their camera in a way that will give them the best possible photographic images.
