Absolutely loved the avo smash with bacon. Delicious, friendly staff, a really good amount of bacon. Value for money babyyyy. Do give this one a go!

Excellent food: shared Chilli Scramble and Grilled Calamari (with a cringeworthy ad-influenced name). Coffee also excellent.

Cute little cafe on the corner of Gilber Road, deco was cute and the whole set up was pretty impressive….

But, walked in with no one really greet us, and staffs seem unhappy/disinterested to be there.

Food was okay, like normal Melbourne standard brunch style. Coffee was very disappointing, though.

Ordered a cold brew and it tasted burnt and bitter…a COLD BREW tasted burnt and bitter (?) I’ve mentioned that to their Head Barista (he looks like it) then he apologized and told us because he running out of time so the coffee wasn’t good enough (?) For me, it sounds like an excuse, and he didn’t even take the cold brew out from my bill since I only had like 3 sips.

I work as a Head Barista at a cafe as well, and I know the hospo industry can be hard, but there’s no reason to be unfriendly/providing the professional service toward to the customers.
If anyone complain or show their frustration about my coffee then I’d take it off their bill straight away because it’s just something we as hospo workers do!

I wouldn’t go back again because there are many other nice cafes in Melbourne and I don’t need to be at one while their service/quality of products aren’t even standard.
And I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there.

Ps. The OJ was pretty good though. 2 stars for the juices and the deco.

Wow such a friendly family owned and run cafe. Really interesting decor, so much to look at while enjoying great food and coffee.

Accidentally overcharged us but then realised it and chased after us to pay it back. Appreciate the honesty!

Wow has this place come a long way since last year. Newly renovated with a fresh new fit out, new kitchen and new menu. The coffee is good, always has been. But the food has improved significantly. Today I enjoyed the Buddha bowl and it was great – very tasty, immaculately presented and a big filling portion. Will return to try more of the menu.

Popped in for some lunch and had the Boss Benny which was delicious. The Bao Chicka Bao Bao was also fantastic. Friendly, accommodating team made for a lovely lunch experience.

Love what they have done to the place!
Menu could be more varied. When the previous owner had it he had a really good menu. The options here are a bit limited. They are also the only cafe around the Area who doesn’t do lactose free coffees.
Good place but there’s a lot of choice in the area!

Good food and drinks from a varied menu.
Inability to split bills is inconvenient when other local cafes provide it as an option.

Bullying staff and terrible customer service. I was bullied in to paying for food they accidentally cleaned up. They tried to say that was fair because the staff member involved lost her job. What? That didn't make me feel better at all. Train the staff and don't bully your customers. Such a shame because it's a cute little place.

I made a booking and food didn’t come till 1 hour later. As soon as I received the food, it was soggy, no flavour. Double cheese burger had very few chips enough for a child, no flavour and drenched it with sauce. My child of 2 years old couldn’t even eat her toasty, since it was burnt and finally the cauliflower and corn fritter was soggy and no flavour.
Very disappointed and this would be the first and last time.

Looks amazing inside and is very welcoming.the coffee was amazing, had a magic and it did not disappoint. Ordered the Benny as well with the brisket, which was on point. Will be returning again. The staff were very friendly, and walk-ins are welcome but id recommend booking at the moment. Great place for breakfast or brunch

Decent cafe in Preston! The service was good and the food was delicious. The iced-coffee was very strong and refreshing on a hot summer day. I was a bit disappointed in the “Eggs Benny” as there was only one egg? Not sure if it is normally like this, but most cafe’s Benny order comes with two. If it wasn’t a mistake, then it’s quite overpriced for just one egg in my opinion. The egg was nicely poached, however sad to just see one on the plate. The presentation was beautiful with the dried citrus sliver though. I would probably come back to this location to see if their other dishes are anything to write home about. As an aside, the decor and music were great!
