Jack Hort Memorial Indoor Pool reviews
6Great swimming pool. Would be better if there were dry areas for parents but unless an extension is done it's not possible, would be good though then a canteen can be put in too. Staff are great, although some issues due to the new management and new systems but nothing worth complaining about. All in all its great for the kids to have a swim and do their lessons.
Love coming to this pool! It's a great size, plenty of room for lap swimmers as well as those who do more hydrotherapy or even when school groups come through. Plenty of benches around the pool, good non-slip flooring and enough toilets and room in the change rooms too. The staff are really helpful and the showers are lovely and hot.
I went to the pool to watch my grandchildren's swimming lessons. The lessons went well and the venue is excellent.
I go swimming at the pool with my grandchildren and my daughter. Always clean, friendly staff. Love my time with my family
This centre is a bit outdated compared to new centres. The roof line is low so there is a lot of humidity & its only a 25 metre pool.
The yarra ranges need to get its act together & build a major centre with a year round indoor & outdoor pool with a hydrotherapy centre.
There is two seasonal outdoor pools in healsville & lillydale but they will not meet the growing population demands.
In healville its silly to have a separate indoor & outdoor pool at different locations.
There needs to be a plan for a major centre somewhere in the yarra ranges as all the centres are not meeting modern standards.
