For me it's o100% best known for South Indian and Chinese food in Melbourne. If you're craving for South Indian and Chinese food then don't waste your time and money at any other restaurant, just drop a gear and try Jaathara. Highly recommended.

I love the breakfasts here. Most favourite is Dosa and poori with chicken curry and sambar idli with reasonable prices.

Dosa idli and wada was like Hyderabad

A place to visit for an amazing street-style Andhra food. The food, service, and ambiance are all top-notch. My favourites to go all time would be Bonda, Pesarattu upma and Poori with chicken curry. Special mention, the chutneys served alongside the food were also outstanding, with each one complementing the dishes perfectly.

We ate double egg chicken fried rice and Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani, they serve really big portions and both of these dishes costed $15.99 each.

It's a good deal and the food has a nice taste.

Finally place where we could enjoy some authentic Telugu food in Melbourne. The food tastes homely and has got delicious flavours.would love to visit again. Thanks to the chefs and for good customer service.

Jaathara is currently the best in barkly street, I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times the consistency which they maintain with regards to quantity and quality is top notch.

We have tried Punugulu, Masala Dosa, Doubke egg chicken noodles. Everything was amazing peanut chutney was tooo good. Please maintain the same consistency don’t compromise on quality.

This Restaurant has best ambiance and decor. With all the music and everything feels like home. The pricing is decent as well. The level of hospitality; promptness and attentiveness is exceptional.

I recently visited a South Indian restaurant in My Area I must say, i was thoroughly impressed with the Customer Service
The Atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting, with some beautiful Mid-Age Telugu songs The menu featured a wide range of traditional South Indian dishes and I am excited to try a fee more different items

Food is great. Must try Chicken curry, Biryani and other Indian snacks. We ordered 7 different dishes in the menu. We loved everything.

Food was nice and cooked with best quality ingredients. It smelled yummy, fresh and healthy.

Filtered water provided free of cost with meals.

Food was served in high quality disposable plates. Staff was polite too.

Highly recommend.

This restaurant never disappoints me with authentic Hyderabadi taste especially mirchi, punugulu, chicken fried rice and do not miss their gatti chutney which you rarely find in Melbourne. All the best guyz.
