J Sushi Cafe

This place is good if you are in rush to get food. Sushi is fresh, good portion of rice and the fillings. Fair price.

Their bento boxes are the best!
But they close early and they missed my online order - but mistakes happen and it was all good.
Just wish they were open past 7pm. (Or 3pm)

Really good service, staff was friendly, quick and efficient. Only had to wait a couple minutes for my food to be ready, pricing is also reasonable.would definitely come back

Delicious food! I had the udon and it was so tasty and warm perfect for cold weather staff were very polite and friendly too!

Visited for the first time today - not a 'fancy' place and probably more for takeaway but our group of four enjoyed our meal seated inside. There is a good variety of items to choose from and we enjoyed all that we bought. I loved the teapot and little cups for our Japanese green tea. We will definitely be visiting again and getting some takeaway.

Tastiest Sushi hand rolls I have had and good value. Bento boxes are very tasty as well.
Staff are very friendly too.
I have been a couple times now and will return whenever I pass through the area on a day out. Very excited to try their rice bowls next visit.

Absolutely delcious, good honest Japanese food. Nothing pretentious. Simply delightful. Great prices and wonderful service. Totally recommend

Staff are very friendly and made me feel very welcome in their store.
I’ve had their Bento Boxes which were affordable and delicious, as well as their salmon nigiri which always tastes great.

Good place to pick up Sushi rolls and find a spot like Melba Park to enjoy the outdoors eating them.

I feel bad leaving this review because maybe I caught them on a bad day. But my sushi was super dry and just seemed old. Definitely doesn't sit well in the stomach. Unfortunate but yeah.

Decent price point, good sushi, and stoked they just moved away from plastic containers! Well done. Change the norm of what sushi comes in. Is there a solution for those tiny soy sauce plastics?

A quaint little sushi cafe, very good. Very fresh sushi, can tell it hasnt been sitting for ages, and the staff are very humble.

Drove from Werribee to lylidale, I was starving on a late Saturday afternoon and it was the only sushi shop open at the time so I thought I’d give it a go. Not much left to buy, but they quickly made my sushi rolls fresh very friendly and welcoming staff at the counter.

The bento box E was value for its money. Super tasty, not expensive and decent sized. The owners are very vriendly too! I will definitely come back.

I had one of the sushi bento sets for lunch today. The sushi was splendid, and the spring rolls were excelent. Although unfortunately the chicken karage was a somehwat chewy and not very crispy. Overall good value.

Nah. Tried this place twice and the rice is either undercooked and gritty or dry as hell. Not great, go down the road to Sushi Hub

Ridiculously good food every time. Came in right before closing and the food was made to order. Tempura was deliciously crispy and the hand rolls were perfect. 10/10 would recommend

We ordered through menu log on Friday 14/06/2019 as it was delivered we opened it and the food had a horrible smell, the dumplings were rubber and the fried rice looked and tasted like it was a few days old. I highly don't recommend this. The next day after a few bites we had myself and partner were both ill

Amazing sushi! By far my favourite ever. Always fresh and delicious. The karaage is also superb. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!
