This is an old fashioned, quality business with a Brunswick twist! John is helpful, knowledgeable, does great work and is also always happy to refer on if he can't help himself. This business is a local treasure.

When first talking to John on the phone, it's likely you will envisage a cranky 70 year old! Don't be fooled! This guy provides impeccable service and a great experience! His welds are great, and his pricing is very reasonable. I'm really glad I have him in my network of people now, and am sure we will do a lot more business in the future.

I was recommended to contact John after another local Brunswick welder gave me John’s name and location. John’s work is incredible. John seems to have the temperament and patience required to fabricate with accuracy and know-how built from years of experience. Very reasonable rates and easy to work with. My second hand BOB Ibex trailer now works like a dream with my 29 inch wheeled off-road touring bike. Well worth it! Thank you John!)

I've gone to John a number of times in the last year to help with fabrications and engineering consultation for wheelchair customisations and repairs. At all times John has produced high quality work in a timely fashion and at a respectable price. He's extremely knowledgeable and an all-round nice guy.

I have used John Hall many times for complex, tricky jobs. Everything from custom design and fabrication to extricating seized seatposts and sheared bolts. Every time he has done a great job. I was prompted to write this review after I said “f**k me, you’re a magician John” after he called to let me know my latest challenge for him had been sorted. Highly recommended.

I sent a very basic photo to John of some metal stands I wanted made to hold some old monitors for an arts festival. He produced four identical very good quality metal stands with wooden tops in a very short turn around (which was a lot to ask for) that were really spot on from the image. He was very courteous to deal with all the way through the process and because of the urgent circumstances helped me to organise pickup and delivery which saved me a lot of hassle. Will definitely be going to him if I ever need more metal work done as he is also very precise.

John has always helped us out in a pinch, and produced work beyond our expectations. A great artisan and extremely accomplished craftsman.

I had a pair of mountainbike suspension forks with a messed up steerer in need of repair so I approached John for help. He gave me 3 options, of which I probably chose the weakest, but came up with a solution that was pure genius. I couldn’t be happier with the job he did. Fully recommened.

This guy is a master craftsman - a superbly-skilled expert of creating things! He's much more than a fabricator / welder / fitter. He's practical, creative, easy to deal with and does what he says. I am coming up with many more projects for him.

Contacted John at short notice 2 weeks before Christmas, for an urgent repair to our outdoor dining setting. He said it will take up to a week but had it ready within a few days. I love that he didn’t promise the earth but actually delivered ahead of time. Workmanship was spot on and fee extremely reasonable. Saved me throwing out my much loved dining setting and spending another $1500. Wholeheartedly recommend this guy he is a professional

John is meticulous, and a spot on craftsman. We have used John exclusively on every fabrication job we do because of his fine workmanship. I have never had any issues with the final product and he is always very accomodating with my unrealistic time frames. Please don't think twice in calling him for advice on your next project.
