Jim & Jake and the team at J&J did an excellent job in remodelling our ensuite bathroom. The quality of work was excellent as was the management and communication throughout the process. Highly recommend these people.

Jim and co responded to a very last minute job trying to get me back into my house prior to Christmas. They bent over backwards trying to make it happen. He even lent us his mini fridge! Excellent work, up front with costs, checked in with me all the time to make sure I was happy. Extremely trustworthy, and cares about his clients. I can’t speak more highly of these guys.

J&J helped us renovate our 100 year old home. They are a family owned and operated business and it really shows in the way they dealt with us. They were honest, reliable, efficient and creative in dealing with the many unforseen problems that arise when renovating an old brick house. Nothing was too hard. J&J are terrific. We had an ambitious plan to renovate and modernise our very crooked 1950’s timber home. They were very helpful with advice and letting us know what was possible and what would require more work. The answer to most of our requests was ‘Too easy’. During the project they were able to correct major structural issues to ensure a professional finish. They were able to recommend and organise all trades for finish work and ensured we were happy at each stage. Very easy to deal with and always available for a chat.

We bought a large unfinished, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom warehouse apartment in Brunswick that had the potential for 2 bathroom, 3 bedroom, study and retreat. J&J understood our vision and with a combination of clever engineering of the 5 metre ceiling height and untapped ceiling store, created an inspired, functional space.

J&J managed the renovation to completion, using their team’s experience and the many other trades required, delivering a high quality job, on time and on budget. They provided creative and handcrafted solutions that made a warehouse into a home.

Testament to the fantastic renovation, was that the property was used for 3 seasons of a well known Australian TV series and later sold at the highest record apartment price in Brunswick.

We continued to use their expertise on another project, a bespoke restaurant fit out in South Melbourne. Their professional approach on this commercial build, and once again their great extended team helped create a beautiful ambience that attracted customers.

On the recommendation of others, we engaged the family renovation business, J & J Renovating Builders to renovate our apartment. We found their work to be excellent, efficient and conscientious.
