I was always fully informed about the progress and at the end when it was time to negotiate the salary, the recruiter was even able to secure more than I asked for. Joshua Vega is the sole reason i am writing this review as he has been the best recruiter i've ever been in contact with in my life and went above and beyond to make sure i was placed in my desired role.
Bad experience one of my friends had. She was referred by Halcyon knights to Coles. She was promised a role and with continuous persuasion by Halcyon knights recruiter to join the company, she agreed to join. She confirmed with recruiter on the role and the manager several times before joining. Coles made her work on weekends and weekdays which was not in agreement with the employee also that was not the role promised. She was cornered to the worst case possible by the management - such as not giving requirements, keep changing goal posts continuously.she was not given enough support
by her manager, they didn't share necessary documentation or help her scheduling transitions or even explaining the requirements clearly.her manager was rude when she asked for change in the role which was promised.she also faced discrimination as most of her team were asian and they spoke in one of the Asian languages and not converse with her clearly. (An act of groupism!). Most of the times manager pushes her one to one citing she was busy. At first, Recruiter paid attention to her complaints and tried speaking with Coles to change her role. But this was all ok only until the recruiter got paid by the company. Her manager went to the worst level of calling her six times a day and even after work hours. And for no reason just after 5 months and 2 weeks they terminated her probation and didn't listen to any of her conversation (mgr and her skip mgr) and was told the decision was made- by giving random reasons. She was not allowed to get HR details and was directed to Manager for any queries. She tried talking to recruiter to explain the situation, he gave contacts to speak to. Apparently the contact given was not the right point of contact.she tried to talk to the recruiter back but he never responded. RECRUITERS! Try not to give fake promises to candidates- who put a lot of effort building a career and with your less attention you have easily ruined someone's career and do not ghost the employee after you get paid.

One of the best recruitment experiences I’ve ever had: Unlike most other recruiters (The just want to push bodies to get commission), Nicolas Schoumaund actually knew and understood the industry which gives him the ability to distinguish the chaff from the wheat. This is not only great of his clients, but also for high performing candidates that don’t have to compete against run of the mill candidates. Moreover, again unlike most other recruiters, Nicolas is also willing to go the extra mile and drive outcomes, instead of passively sitting around waiting for things to organically happen.
It should not be surprising as this is the second great experience I had with the Halcyon Knights group and these are recurring themes for them: I would highly recommend Nicolas Schoumaund and Adam Mauceri to enterprise organisations and dynamic candidates.

I applied for the job listing, where shortly after I was contacted by Chris Brydon. I was given the information about the company and position, and gave me time to review the role and decide whether I wanted to proceed with my application.
I passed the initial coding test and proceeded to the next stage of the interview, where Chris gave me more intimate details on the company and role, and was able to answer any questions I had and gave me tips with the interview. Passed the interview with flying colours and got a job offer on the same day. Afterwards, even after the job offer, Chris is still keeping in contact to make sure that everything is going right.
All in all, it was a great and smooth recruitment process. I would definitely recommend Chris as your recruiter.
