Iron Kingdom Carrum Downs

Nitro gym is a great place to lift some weights and do some cardio. It is what I have been looking for. This gym was designed for the bodybuilder but is also a great place for the average jo, as I get inspiration from the people that are more fit than I. I paid for 12 months upfront at $449 and have been regularly going for two months now. Was worth every cent so far. Great staff, as they are very welcoming. Highly recommended if you are keen to lift those weights.

Needs to clean the gym a little more maybe even be nice to people ohh and maybee walk around the gym pick up the weights clean the machines its bloody disgusting
Seeing this gym boom up again is great after iron kingdom but honestly needs better managment and better workers so people actually wana come back and not complain

This gym is old, run down. Came here for a casual to see how it is. Cost me $10, I was robbed.
Walk in, the most miserable kid I’ve seen greets with a “yeah! ” Pay the $10 and enter
Started on the treadmill to get me going, broken buttons! Step to the next one, out of order! Step to the next, hallelujah! It works! Start with a brisk walk then turn it up for a jog, belt starts slipping! Step to the next one, belt slips as well. I give up jump over to the spin bike and they are all Mickey Mouse.
Today is chest and shoulders, all cable machines and free weights are in good working order.
Now for the best part of the gym, the cold shower after to get the blood pumping to the muscles. Get to the showers and they’re all locked! Head over to happy at the desk and enquire about the shower.
What’s happening with the showers?
“They’re closed! ”
Forever?
“I don’t know, they’re closed! ”
Is it just for weekends or after a certain t….
“THEYRE CLOSED DUDE! THATS ALL I KNOW! ”

So the reason I say I’ve been robbed is they’re charging the standard $10 casual but only delivering 1/3 of the service.
Now I know it’s been tough for gyms due to covid, but you’re not helping yourself by putting misery guts at the front house, letting machines become unusable and not providing showers!
There’s 6 gyms in the immediate area that all charge the same but provide more.

This gym isn’t the best I wish staff were a little nicer and there were more smaller weights. I like the toilet though.

I want to thank this facility for being receptive to feedback and their quick response.
I was taken aback by the litter that had collected in the carpark. (This entire region has shocking amounts of litter.) I chose to go in and ask that the area be tidied given the close proximity to Port Phillip Catchment and The Pines Flora & Fauna Reserve.
The staff were friendly and open to my complaint. Unlike other businesses, they didn't play the "Litter, what litter? " cherade. Badabing less than a week later, the area is like brand new. Bravo!

Since when was nitro gym aka iron kingdom Gender racial, there’s plenty of female gyms out there no need to mix two gyms in one. I can negotiate to understand if they bought the same equipments and put them in that section but instead they moved a few of my favourite equipments that other branches don’t have from the general section and made it only for females just to reel more customers. As if people in this generation don’t know by now that gender is nothing but energy. A gender can carry masculine or feminine energy or even both so don’t judge a human by it’s appearance and classify them into a category. I hope that makes perfect sense x

No aircon is GOOD, go sit on the couch if you do want to sweat, just started today, this gym is GANGSTA, never seen anything like it,

Friendly customer service. Ample equipment to utilize whether it be weight strengthening or cardio. Ample parking. Easy access from car park. Open 24/7 Members & non Members Gym. Highly recommend here for the gym junkies or the health and wellness enthusiasts.
Membership starring from approximately $5.80 @ Week, far less than $10 or $16 @ week that over gyms are offering!
