The BJJ coaches at this gym (Pratt and Sam) are some of the best around. Super knowledgeable, super friendly and always willing to go out of their way to help.

The environment that Pratt and Sam have created in the Jiu Jitsu classes are amazing. They make everyone feel so comfortable and are so knowledgeable. Can’t recommend it enough for those who are looking to challenge themselves in an uplifting and positive environment.

As a mature age CrossFit newbie, the first day was rather daunting. But with the support of a great community focussed on fun and laughs whilst working out, has encouraged me to keep attending for the last two years. Importantly, the Iron Barbarian coaches continually apply their patience and professionalism to help me every week. Loving the challenge with still lots to learn…eg how to love Burpees; the lyrics to Madz’s mad music; Tux’s dance moves.

Pratt and Sam are some of the best coaches for Brazilian jujitsu. Pratt’s American wrestling knowledge has helped my wrestling and takedowns and on top control work in rolls. Sam has some of the most detailed explanation of technique that has helped me get better over the last year and a bit.

Has quickly become my favourite gym to do Crossfit. I love the vibe here, everyone is super friendly.

I have been looking for a crossfit gym that suits my needs for awhile and I have finally found crossfit Strathmore! I have been coming to this gym for over a month and feel completely at home.
I have always loved CF but felt a bit intimated by many CF gyms during the trials. First time I was there, Mariette spent time going through movements so that I feel comfortable to do them on my own with no risk as well as encouraging me to do my best. Tux and Mariette are always ensuring that everyone has a great time at every session. They provide great professional service as well as a very convenient timetable (lots of sessions) which suits around my busy work schedule.
I have tried many gyms and CF places in the past and this is the one that will make you keep going at it regardless of what level you are at.

Best Crossfit in this side of town, super friendly and cool owners, and they really understand what you want to get out of your fitness

These guys are legends! At Strathmore I had the most encouraging and friendly CrossFit community that I never had in a regular gym.

Tux and Marriet are real human beings. These guys will be forever in my heart! They have shown me how CrossFit can be such a great way to reach your better self every day.

If you are looking for a box to train, don’t even need to think twice. You won’t get any better price than here. It is a shame I moved to Melbourne southeast and had to leave this guys.
