Best training academy in Melbourne & the most welcoming & inclusive for female (& gender diverse) students. The tactical / self defence skills in particular have saved me from some very dire situations, both in personal & professional settings. After completing training i went on to have a long career with Department of Justice & Community Safety. Highly recommended!

Completing the Cert II course with Syed K.has been one of the best experiences. He is very knowledgeable and outgoing. He cares for his students and their success. I would definitely recommend ISTA to anyone wanting to pursue security. I look forward to completing other courses with them.

These guys are "Amazing and very very very professional" one of these wonderful staff which I was supposed to have a zoom meeting for the enrollment he simply cut me out because HE HAD ISSUES ON THE AUDIO instead of helping me out with the result l wasted one day if my life with these "reliable and trustworthy people# keep it up guys on losing money good work

Going to finish my course today, it’s tough during COVID 19 but we got Syed Kazim a 5 star rating guy and really he deserves it as our teacher he is very helpful, very professional has great knowledge and had a great time finishing my course with him and I definitely recommend ISTA institute.

I rather have these trainer to educate me in school, they are well prepared to deliver and their communication with us very very excellent so thank you Syed Kazim im now well prepared to become as a security officer

I rang to ask about how to get my fingerprints done and Sarah told me it’s my own responsibility and at the start was reluctant to help. She came across as sarcastic about me not remembering the procedure, even though it was a year ago! Maybe if you’ve got such a hatred for customer service you shouldn’t be the first point of contact answering the phones. Highly suggest this company trains her in customer service or hire someone else who will show some respect.

Missed a few days due to personal reasons and the rescheduler on the phone tells me to come in to next class at any time. Turns out I can't start till 1 pm. Wasted entire morning due to staff laziness.

Great teacher in Syed. Good course for getting into security and though we didn't start with a set teacher both were helpful and well experienced.

I completed a security course online and enjoyed it very much, the course which I was looking for. I liked the teachers specially Syed. He was very good and cooperative.

Good place to learn security certificate course's and ready to join the security industry, Staff working here was always helpful. Trainer Syed Kazim and Trainer Cecil were gone above the line to help students with their learnings and real life experience's. Course materials are easy to grasp and during Covid-19,80 percent of classes happened online and it. The reason to choose this institute over others is accessibility and weekend classes. I am proud to be part of ISTA training.

I had a good experience with ISTA especially for the course being partially online on zoom. The trainer was very helpful, the material was easy to read. Recommend!

Did my course with this company they claim I didn't complete my course with them fully which is not factual as there is evidence to support otherwise.

Management is always changing and it feels there is aggressive attitude and bais nature from certain management.

And is clearly the issue in this establishment.

Wouldn't recommend to anyone wanting to start in or Upskill in Security.

ISTA was great, they did pretty well with the online course for a first time thing, better than some university staff managed. Some of the assessments should be updated so that the questions are more clear, but the trainers were very experienced and forthcoming about the field.
