Avoid this company if possible. Instyle gates billed my wife and I in excess of $200 for a callout fee, despite the fact that we never agree to their visit. After trying to resolve the issue via phone calls and email without success, we were threatened with debt collection. We subsequently paid the invoice in protest and took the matter to VCAT. We won the case and Instyle gates had to return most our money back. Have a happy Christmas Kim.

Andrew and his team were amazing. Punctual, tidy and easy to communicate with. We are super happy with our gates.

Had InStyle install a new motor for me a couple of years ago and despite seeing a lot of use its never stopped. Recently had a small issue with the remote sensor so I got in touch with them again. The next day they came around fixed it and also provided a couple of shiny new remotes. Great service and product, highly recommend!

Richard was amazing, nothing was an issue. He was very professional and listen to what we needed and didn't try to sell us anything that we didn't need.

Extremely poor communication, very poor organisation, shoddy product provided.

Edit: In response to the business comment! Extremely inaccurate record of events. I'm disappointed that someone had the capacity to respond (erroneously) to a review within minutes of it being published, yet you did not have the capacity to turn up to appointments, and have failed multiple times to respond to requests for assessment/repair.

The matter has been escalated, but good luck to anyone attempting to deal with this business!

Beware they won’t service their own product or provide parts. I highly recommend finding a company that will service because large gates like mine, as Andrew himself told me, are heavy and can fall and kill if not maintained. After installing it, they promised they would visit again to deliver a maintenance pack and show me what needs to be done/checked. That never happened. When it needed a service for broken parts they kept making excuses as to why they couldn’t come out and kept saying they’d get back to me. They never did and never gave any reason. Now it needs another service and again I’m frustrated ringing around looking for someone who can help.

We called in the afternoon and had a call back the next day letting us know that there was a contractor in the area and he could assess our gate which needed repairing. Soon after they arrived, assessed the job and repaired it on the spot. Great Service and happy with the result.

Highly recommend Andrew & the team @ InStyle Gates, i had a urgent maintenance issue and they went out of their way to assist me! Knowledgeable, reliable and great value!

I was very happy with the services provided. They did a great job. Very helpful and checked in to make sure everything was ok.

After bit of a drawn out process to complete the job, I am now satisfied at the completion of the job.
Only downside would be the communication with customer in regards to the progress of job instead of customer instigating all phone enquires.
With that said the gate has come up well.

Great company to deal with and the technician who fixed the gate was very knowledgable and was able to get our gate working again.

We just moved into our new home and Andrew gave our gate a look over and maintained it for us. And explained to us how to keep up with the maintenance. We love our gate installed by Andrew at Instyle Gates, they give our home that framed finished appearance and offer privacy and security. Thank you for all your help and professionalism.

As your communication skills were clear straight away after answering your call, I was sure you were not suitable for the position advertised. One of our requirements is "great communicator" which you fell short off. I am sorry you are upset you are not suitable for this advertised position and we wish you all the best in the future!

We recently moved into Frankston South and needed some bespoke gates for our new home. I rang Kim at Instyle Gates, what can I say, fabulous from the start. Extremely professional, timely, and very detailed in her approach to our needs. They met every expectation, would recommend these time and time again. Thanks guys, we love them!

This person Kim that answered the phone was unbelievably rude and disrespectful.
I called about a position they had for employment and I was trying to be as nice as I can be and I could not believe she talked to me like that.
I wonder why they have a position to fill?
Not hard to see, when behavior like this is on a random phone call.
I would stay far away from this business if this is the way they act.
Working for this person must be a nightmare.
Just imagine what it would be like after they have your money.

Installation of gates was great, guys who came out did a really good job. Just don't expect any after sales service.
I have called 7 times and been told each time that someone would call me back. Not once, never has anyone bothered to call back. Beyond ridiculous, especially when they wait for you to ring out then turn on the answering machine!
