Inspirations (used to be velvet paints) reviews
15Absolutely brilliant customer service. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for professional and friendly advice and service.
Same product at Bunnings was $23 MORE!
Super helpful Great advice.
Good price
I find this paint store excellent. The staff are friendly and give helpful advice. I have been shopping here for over 20 years. Highly recommended.
I was waiting in line to be served, when the sales assistant called me to come to the register. As I got to the register the phone rung and she answered it while continuing to serving me. I found this very rude and extremely frustrating as I had questions about the product I was purchasing. She finished my transaction handed me the receipt while still being on the phone, still she did not acknowledge me in front of her or say sorry for being on the phone. I found this to be extremely poor customer service
My fiancé and I came in this morning (first time for me) and we were greeted. Great recommendation for the paint we wanted for our bathroom from the gentleman owner and the lady. Very helpful and great customer service. We absolutely recommend this paint shop.
Lovely place range of products: : ALL TOOLS BRUSH AND spray part. GOOD BRAND'S OF ACCESSORIES. GOOD PRICE. EXPERIENCED CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE.
HIGH CLASS BUSINESS.
THEY LOVE THEY JOB AND IT'S GIVE YOU POSITIVE ENERGY.
Had very bad experience with these people, rude arrogant and unprofessional behaviour, disrespectful towards women. They treated me badly when I did visited there to purchase. I have been connected to inspiration paints and Dulux more then an year but this store is not good. They might can learn something from Nunawading and Eltham like stores where they really treat everyone equally and with well manners. Personally I don’t think they do deserve any star
Zero stars. Shocked at the rude, belittling service received by Wayne. Was told off for wanting
a color match. Buyer beware the staff just don't care about customers in my experience. Bemused at other reviews saying these people are friendly. Customer service totally unprofessional, disgusting, never going back. Congratulations on being the worst in store experience I've had ever.
Some complaints I feel compelled to answer.
Enamel (oil based) paints are more time consuming to match. Colors change as they dry, and while a hair dryer allows acrylic (water based) paints to be fast dried, oils won't be accurate.
And "touch up" paint often means a sample pot because "I only have 2 touch ups". 1/ Sample pots are simply too small a quantity to accurately color match, and 2/ it's hardly fair to expect a half hour job that pays $6. These guys do their best and I'd trust them ahead of most. They've always done right by me.
Great service by Wayne. He is very helpful.
A place you should go if you need paint and accessories
I would give this place a zero star if I could. It is not customer friendly. I was there on Sunday at 3: 45 pm. The shop closing time is 4 pm.
While I was waiting for my turn to be served, the person behind the counter - Wayne - was extremely rude and saying disparaging and derogatory things about aboriginal culture to the person before me. He frequently used 'F' words and didn't bother about thinking that he is being heard by other people in the shop.
When it was my turn, I said I have a $20 voucher, Wayne said "We closed the till that accepts vouchers". Other gentleman - Gordon said - "come back tomorrow, if you want to use voucher". It was 3: 50 pm. Why would the shop close the till 10 minutes before their closing time? When I requested them to re-open the till and take my voucher and provide me with goods; Wayne started using profanity and 'F'-words again. I highlighted that to both Gordon and Wayne that this is not a professional conduct and not a way to treat a customer. To this Wayne started laughing.
Please avoid this place at all costs. If there is a branch manager who cares about their reputation, he should respond to this comment.
Went to get touch up paint and was told they don't sell may be because requirement was too low. They asked me to go to springvale without even asking the colour and quantity.
This place is a great little paint shop they really know their stuff I got a perfect colour match.its a one stop shop and park right at the front door.
Lovely place range of products: : ALL TOOLS BRUSH AND spray part. Can paints.them like a finger
Friendly and helpful staff. Best paint prices I could find in Melbourne (Dulux, berger and their own brand). Discount cards for future purchases.
