Inner West Dance Melbourne

It’s hard to find quality adult dance classes, this is my third year dancing at the studio and it’s fantastic. Professional teachers who truly cater to all ability levels, where you’re made to feel welcome and included. I’d recommend any adult who’s considered giving it a go or anyone looking to get back into it, do it, you won’t regret it!

Inner west dance is an amazing dance school! I started there when I was 9 and it was the best decision I have ever made! It is an inclusive, safe and amazing environment. I have made so many life long friends during my time here.

We have been attending Inner west dance for the past 3 years. The teachers are fantastic and so so friendly, our girls are always excited to go to dancing. If you are looking for a modern and welcoming dance studio this is the place to go.

This is my daughter's third year with Inner West Dance, starting with Toddler dance and progressing through Hip Hop before now embarking on Acro. It took some time to find a school I was comfortable with, and IWD has been a joy! The annual concert has been a delightful experience for my daughter and our entire family. She thrives in the relaxed atmosphere and appreciates the caring and professional teachers. The vibe is simply awesome, making all the kids and families feel welcome and comfortable.

Inner West Dance is a very inclusive, supportive dance studio. It has a real family feel, and we've made good friends along with learning skills and exercising (adults and kids alike!). The kid's confidence in their skills and in performing in the end of year concert has been amazing to watch.

We have just started lessons here.so far my little one is loving it. She gets so excited on dance day.

Lindsey choreographed the best dance for our wedding. She made us feel at ease right from the start, with our different abilities, one of us more keen than the other to do it at all! She was patient and creative and we felt a million dollars after the 6 lessons and nailed it - so many people loved it and we are so glad we invested in this time we had together leading up to our wedding. The process was smooth and seamless and flexible I would highly recommend this dance studio and doing a wedding dance that's made just for you.

Lindsey with IWD choreographed our wedding dance in 6 lessons and it was an incredible experience resulting in a fantastic first dance. Just trust her and her process.you won't regret it. We had so much fun trying out different steps, sequences, lifts, drops, and little touches and, in the end, got a really amazing dance routine with some new tricks up our sleeves. In addition to the technical aspects, we also really felt like IWD was accommodating, respectful, and kind. We had some unforeseen complications that made scheduling our first lesson a little difficult and Megan worked with us to fit it all in. I would 100% recommend IWD to anyone looking for a stress-free, yet high-impact, wedding dance routine and lessons. Such a fantastic dance studio in west Melbourne! Thank you Megan and Rebecca for opening up! The adult dance classes are fabulous- I've been doing tap classes and Megan is a fantastic teacher and makes the classes so much fun! Would definitely recommend the studio if you're looking for something fun to do in the west!
