Indoor Sports Centre

Closed more than other sports centers. It was announced that it would be closed at 5pm on weekends, but even if I went before 4pm, it was already closed.even, price more higher than other sport center. Here is not a good sport center, if you want to exercise regularly.

Donot join this gym.they take debit card and even thou i didnot use gym as i moved overseas they wanted to take money out of my account.i locked my card to stop it but still they wanted money

Use the gym almost every day, the facilities are good, but the open times are not good, they close early and often during public holidays, wish they would extend their open times. I wouldn’t recommend this gym if you tend to workout late or have a busy schedule.

Is this centre available to public? Can I access the sports centre with a fee or membership? If yes, whom should I contact?

Gym underwent a renovation two years ago and looks like what modern gym should be (new photos needed), there are more cardio machines and a lot more squat racks. However, the toilets and showers need a touch up, gives me high school vibes.

Very disappointing I been going to Latrobe pool since I was 7 and even my birthday party there once, and i have always been able to go on the Tarzan robe i haven’t been there around a year went today tried to get the rope down and a life guard yelled at us and said don’t touch it from the across the pool we but down the pole which we tried getting the rope with having no idea why we couldn’t use until we saw a litter paper with the new rule about be 18 and over to use and need to make booking ect. And why is there a sigh on the wall with the old rules instead of the new ones and why just put the new rules on a tiny piece of paper the only reason I always went to Latrobe was for the Tarzan robe and the deep pool don’t think I’ll be going there again

From our visit there, looks so awesome for a birthday party that my little boy wanted in straightaway. Staff were friendly and helpful and that's always a great experience.

Worst when it comes to administration. Adult learn to swim classes were managed poorly. They will keep on changing instructors and classes in each term, don't have a mechanism to inform the service users when their preferred instructor is available. This kept on happening with me in 3 consecutive terms. I had spoken multiple times with incharge of Swim school to get these issues fixed, but the response was despicable. The staff didn't even bother to enrol me despite multiple requests, had to reach out to director to get enrolled. Speaks volumes about management. (Facilities and traniners were great - 1 star is for them, admin team and swim school management deserves zero stars)

The pool aswell is very nice. I find it a bit pricey. The prices could have been better

Been going there for last three yrs. Place is awesome. Good facility, especially for LATROBE students and alumni.

Very pricy for such outdated "Gym" facility. Worst part is there's no shower rooms, only four open showers (forign students won't be able to use open showers). You're not allowed to use the gym class space even when there's no classes, fairly cramped for such large subarbian university. As a pro athlete I gotta say am otterly dissapointed.

As a long time user of this facility was thoroughly disappointed with the treatment I received today. We were turned away at the door as if we were robbing the place with a stern ‘ how tf did you guys get in here, we are closed. ’ ‘Through the open door, ’ I replied. Me and my friend due to the colour of our skin were racially targeted no doubt by the young lady at the front reception rostered on 6: 00pm 09/02/20. I felt extremely threatened and was thoroughly scared. I am very disappointed as a long time member of the facility with the false advertisement on their page citing them being open till 10pm. Do NOT give your money to these people.

It's almost perfect! The staff are very friendly and outgoing. The equipment is available and in good working condition. But the membership for the gym comes along with pool, which I don't use. But I would like to appreciate the timings, staff and quality of things around there.

Also, pay to play policy sucks for a uni like la trobe! It would've been better if it was only a deposit to use the sport centre for other activities. Also why the heck is it small? ! #candobetter

Fantastic Sports Centre at an affordable rate. Pool, gym, squash, tennis, yoga, Pilates and other classes. Staff are very friendly!

Everything is booked frequently before entered. I never seen such a small sports centre in university campus, look the RMIT Bundoora campus that is huge like a real sports centre. Here is just a tiny area for primary students, and even though you still need to pay if you're la trobe student

Pity the pool isn't open decent hours.like what is with this 6am to 9am then shut for 3 hours? Stupid Policy.

Always a lot of lane space available for public swimming. Sometimes a bit dirty and always very warm on deck but a good option in the area.

Friendly staffs, nothing to complain about for the venue. It's convenient and the courts are affordable compared to some of the other facility rates around Melbourne.
