Indian daawat restaurant

Came here on a Friday night and can honestly say that it's one of the best Indian restaurant in Bendigo and food is the best and staff is very friendly and helpful.

Ordered the Pack A through Uber and on dishing up when returned home the amount of meat in the butter chicken, lamb josh and chicken tikki was just embarrassing - SO few pieces of meat. The food was tasty, just very disheartening to see the scabby amount of meat in the dishes.

We went to Daawat restaurant yesterday. The foods was very nice, delicious, generous portion, friendly and recommended. I also like the big screen and the Indian music give the great vibes.

Great friendly service, terrific food and wonderful team to help us celebrate a 50th birthday. Table of 20 and everyone enjoyed their meals. Highly recommend, we had a great time, the espresso Martini from the B&A bar was very well made too.

Overall excellent experience.tasty food with good quality and great service specially Davinders, and chef Jatinder's food making and recipes are impressive. And impressed for taking precautions nd safety measure. Very good place for family nd friends love to visit again

Great place for a top notch Indian meal. The food is absolutely delicious, reasonably priced and great portion sizes. The staff are excellent, friendly and very accommodating. Plenty of parking at the rear and a pleasant restaurant setting Highly recommend!

It was a last minute thing as the wifey wanted Dahl & rice. Time was 2.30 pm when we reached Bendigo and we chanced going here. Bit of a dodgy looking joint and the fact is the place could use a bit of dolling up to give a better ambiance. The one thing I couldn't fault though was the food. Well done guys. I love being surprised by good food and yours was great. So was the service but remember to smile. I actually didn't mind it being attached to a pub as you can order a beer with your food and made the experience a bit quirky. If you consistently serve food like that we will return next time we are in Bendigo but you really need to do something about the decor and pls make sure you can't see the kitchen next time as it didn't look the cleanest due to having that half wall at the front counter making you look at the top half of the kitchen.

A great Indian restaurant in Eaglehawk road. Nice food, service and ample car parking. Navneet has been very friendly and helpful. Loved the visits there. Prices are comparatively cheaper than other Indian food outlets. Recommended.

This restaurant is surely a hidden gem. Cannot fault anything, food was so delicious with lots of unique flavours.
Waiting staff were very helpful and the service was top notch

The food was delicious, it may not look much from the outside and the decor is a little tired but the food is awesome. Our group shared a fantastic array of dishes and needed to order more side dishes, naan etc and that was no issue and was provided quickly.

The best butter chicken in the world! These guys know how to do curries. If you like Indian, this is a must. If you DON’T like Indian food, still go and see what you’ve been missing. This is the second time I’ve been back, but definitely not the last. It’s love at first bite!

I quiet found it authentic Indian restaurant. Love the taste of food, service time and menu prices.

Very good service i visit in bendigo from Melbourne yesterday, food was so yummy and very good staff salute to them

Staff is really rude, they don’t have manners to talk with customers, they have given the time on the website closing 9 pm when the customers calls before not taking the orders and so rude over the phone.

The best butter chicken i have ever had. It was beautiful and only $16. Other places charge $20 for barely anything! Chicken was perfectly cooked, sauce is tasty and thick in consistency. The garlic naan was beautiful paired with it too.definitely going to spend all my money here. I dont have pictures because it was devoured as soon as i smelled it

The atmosphere and decor are not much to write home about, but when the food is that good it's not a problem.

Absolutely delicious food. Onion bahji, yum! And butter chicken, chicken Korma were very good! First time I tried this place after a while of wanting to, very happy with what we got, great price and delicious food!
