Not to mention, our table was served by Mitchell who was really attentive and friendly to us which made the night even better. All these 5reviews are absolutely legit! This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne The ambience is full of colours and is pretty unique. Food presentation is something I have never seen an Indian restaurant do.
Garlic Naan was authentic north Indian naan where garlic wasn't just chopped and spread on the bread. Paneer Tikka Masala was my absolute favourite. Gulab jamun was supple and fresh.
Hygiene is also very well taken care of as bathrooms were spotless clean.
This restaurant goes above and beyond to give you a good experience. Give it a try, you won't regret!

We chose India @ Q by DDs Kitchen to celebrate my son’s birthday with family and I’m so glad we did. We had a really lovely dining experience with a delicious range of dishes, both meat-based and vegetarian - some of the best Indian food we’ve eaten. The presentation was done with visual and culinary flair and care, the service was very attentive and there was a warm vibe to this family-run restaurant. Nothing seems too much trouble here - they brought his birthday cake out accompanied by a spectacular Indian dessert creation under a dry-ice dome, creating a moment of drama and fun. Thanks for a special dining experience and looking forward to returning!

Best Indian food I’ve tasted. Beautiful presentation, refined, with high degree of detail to each dish. Complex composition of each dish but very authentic flavours. Light, tasty food which didn’t sit heavily in the stomach late at night. The best example of a “qualified chef” prepared meal compared to a “cook” which is often the case in most other Indian restaurants in town. Family run with wonderful service. Can’t recommend any particular dish bc they were all excellent. Highly recommend. We were a group of 10 and everyone loved it.

The entrees are soooo good. Our favourite is "Hariyali Paneer Tikka". There is even a uniqe way for servicing this dish.

We will definitely visit here again.

What a discovery! Our family of four enjoyed a wonderful dining experience here last night. Food was beautifully presented with fresh ingredients, hubby especially loved the vegetable additions to each starter. The tandoori platter was tender and delicious. Our teens loved the butter chicken. By far the best Indian food in Kew!

A Big Shout-out to the restaurant owner and the chef for their big and inclusive hearts. Owner & chefs trained students with disabilities to serve customers at the front and food preparation in the kitchen. They hosted a lunch for teachers, parents and visitors after weeks of training. The service was fantastic, the food well presented and delicious. This restaurant nestles along the Kew shopping street, easy to find the location and ample parking at nearby public carparks.

Amazing restaurant with amazing presentations n amazing texture/taste with the right mix of ingredients. Never had hospitality experience the way it was given in this restaurant. Owners are amazing who feels you like someone soecial home guest, not just paying customer. Must try desert tray special. Doesnt break a bank to have proper fine dine in experience. Highly recommended.

We were so impressed by Daddy and Daughters (DD’s) food yesterday. It’s healthy and very affordable. Flavors are rich and surprising.
Service was very accommodating and sweet, but not too quick (if you were in a rush). The food came very quickly though.

They renovated the place and it looks so much better now. And they really upped the food presentation too. See the video of the paneer being served.

Ps. We watched the youtube channel today to learn a bit about how you make these beautiful curry’s and paneers, it’s so cute.

Unbelievable find in Kew! The word will get out on this one. Polite prompt, attentive service. Thoughtful decor including plush chairs. Generous portions. Great attention to detail, for example plates were warmed, plating was visually pleasing. Food was tasty and authentic. We had the banquet and asked for "medium" spice, but we could have gone hotter. Butter chicken is amazing. This is up-market Indian at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

This not your typical family owned and run business. It's a 5 star dining experience tucked away in a sleepy location.

I am very much looking forward to making many a visit to try the whole menu.

A delightful meal. This is Indian food presented authentically and cooked from the heart. The flavours in balance with no component overpowering another. The lamb shank cooked slowly for 8 hours was a stand-out, while the Chicken Tikka Hariyali
stopped the restaurant patrons in their tracks as it was flambéed at the table. The dessert of pistachio kulfi was a glorious way to finish the meal. Highly recommend this gem in Kew.

What a truly amazing place. Great food, great service, great people. I previously had a take-away from here, Lamb RJ and I swear it was the best I'd had of all time and I'm old, very old. I returned with a curry buddy and after giving the RJ such a big tick, she tried it as did I because I'm old AND boring. Big hit! We resolved to return soon to explore the menu.
