India at Home reviews
20 As per the website the store closes at 7pm when I reached the store which was around 5: 45pm in few minutes the girl came and said we are closing the store. Because of which I had to rush to buy the goods ended up leaving the store in less than 10mins
The sweets I brought majority of them were broken into pieces. Because seems like the girl was rushing to get them packed.
I am sure their were few more customers wanting to buy products because the girls had already brought everything inside and closed the doors
their was no space left for the
customer to go through the aisle to buy stuff due to which everyone decided to leave.
Definitely very poor customer service.
Happy to see all needed items at one spot. I found all those things that i left behind in india. Love this place.
Shop shuts at 1845 while listing 1930 as the closing time.
Attendant literally stops me from getting into the shop at 1845 saying they are closed.
Hi, I purchased some items amounting to AUD80 from India At Home, Parkmore Shopping Centre and was informed that my receipt will be sent to my email address as I am a member. Unfortunately, I have not received the receipt. Is this a new scam as I am unable to check whether I have been correctly charged.
This is a small Indian store with a decent range but charges a steep premium - well over 30% for many items.
The aisles are quite tight so it's not suitable for trolley shopping. This makes the place unsuitable for anything substantial like a fortnightly /monthly shop.
It's perhaps OK to pick up one or two essentials but, for a better experience, try the best known Indian stores.
Ridiculous.don’t trust on the store timings.its their own choice they can close at any time.was their 20 minutes before their closing time but they said oh we just closed.worst experience
SHAME on you guys for ripping people off. VERY expensive store. Their price for 5 kg Grewal makki aata $22.15 At other store I can get it for $ 13.00
Also for10 kg ghee price difference is between $ 20-25. Greedy people. Avoid going there
Brought 3 different kinds of laddu from here (besan, moti choor & yellow one) All 3 of them were stale, hard and it had old oil smell too. When I called the store n told them they just told sorry n finished it off. No offer of replacement or refund. It's like I paid for something which needs to be thrown out. The store by itself they sell over priced stuff. Would not be going back there nor would recommend the place.
Very expensive in everything. Total rip off.
Anything you pick up from this store, prices will be 30 to 40% more than MKS or other stores. I will make sure that I wont go here ever again. Seems like owner wants to be rich fairly quickly.
Great products and prices and perfect for online shopping! Was really impressed with their efficiency and amazing & friendly customer service. The team has a great work ethic and passionate about providing the very best to their customers! A real pleasure to do business with:)
Its good to find indian stuff under one roof but what I found is more than half of the items are overpriced comparatively with other Indian stores.
To the Owners, after your Appology Notice on FB, I here by change my review & give you a 5, we understand mistakes do happen, however pls never ever take any advantage of the situation & increase the price. Think about those people like Doctors, Nurses etc who went too help others & came home in coffin. We are in crises & next few months are very Crucial, so let's help one another & come out of this bad situation.all the very best, thank you so much.
Located in Parkmore shopping center. Indian groceries supermarket well stock with imported Indian brand items.
Don't go there, they are rip off everything is very expensive.today i bought 5 kg chick peas for $31.50
And some 5kg chick peas and Punjabi Bazar is selling them for $12.5.they are taking advantage of crona virus selling everythingthing for 2 to 3 times higher than the normal price.
Little bit pricy compare to others but convenient location and mostly all Indian brands are available.
Most of the products doesn't have price tags and are pricey than other Indian stores. You will find a lot of old stock nearly expiring.
An all-in-one shop for all your Indian grocery needs, it is located inside Parkmore Shopping center opposite to the 'market place' fruits & veggie market. Once inside, you feel like you are shopping in Punjab, thanks to the Punjabi music that's always ON in the background, but looking at hte price tag in $$$ brings you back in Melbourne.:) cheers
Good place to shop but have some cheap Products brought from overseas also I have to return back to them.
One girl is keep staring us while shopping ; it was so weird, i dont know, what she want to prove
I thought it wud be convenient but They sell expired food, maggi, rusks. Bought brown kidney beans but they turned out to be red and no taste all rubbish. Never gonna buy anything from this rubbish shop.
