India At Home reviews
24 Cooperative and very friendly staff they have and all the girls are so helpful.
They help you when you can’t find anything and it’s very convenient for us to shop there.
Best shop in Dandenong for groceries…
Service was Amazing I always go there and always get treated by friendly staff I would Highly recommend to everyone to visit this store
They sell expired items - by cutting off the crimp of the products, putting stickers on them. Things purchased from here are mostly expired.
Waste of money - and risking health.
They should be reported
Bought bag of basmati rice. Opened it that evening. Full of weevils. If they can't keep on top of such a basic staple, there is no hope for them.
Very bad customer service
Highly disappointed
The serving girls had very bad attitude & no etiquettes how to deal & greet with customers
Expired products on shelves sold at marked down prices. You sell marked down products that have short expiry left to them, not the ones that have already been expired for months.
Very Poor customer service. I went there yesterday evening with my friend, lady was on the phone all the time not even listening what we were saying. I don’t know why people work if they don’t know the basic manners of customer service.
Don't buy real TV from them, useless box making excuses doesn't know how to fix things just standing there making excuses.
My experience at the Dandenong plaza store, the person who is in charge of the store was very rude, also the snacks which I bought was very old stuff, please careful buying snacks at the counter.
Has lots of varieties of Indian Grocery Items and Eatables, but prices are upto 25% expensive for products as compared to same items sold at other retail/wholesale Indian Stores.
Products have been neatly and systematically stacked and display their printed Price-tags in read-only format (Unlike shoddy management of these aspects at most of other Indian stores).
Location inside Dandenong Plaza Shopping Centre (SC) provides for excellent connectivity to other usual shopping spots.
This shop and india at home in general needs to understand the meaning of customer service. I avoid this shop as much as I can but I needed something which I could not find anywhere else. Staff members are very rude and unprofessional. Please and thank you or even smile is non existent in this shop. Wish I could give 0 stars.
Bought a packet of papad here and found insects and its eggs inside it. Totally don't recommend this shop at all.
They will charge almost double the price for everything.
Rocky departmental store is way better then this shop.
Very disappointed with their opening timing, website says the store open at 9: 30am but most of the time they open 10 to 15 minutes later.they need to be consistent to keep their regular customers coming in.
Very unprofessional
Lazy staff
Went to buy some stuff today the girl at the register (don't know name but had an appearance of newly wedded) tried to charge us overly
Put different prices in the register then scanned same thing twice.
The total came to 32$
We were amazed how come
We asked how come it's this much and she was like I just scanned same thing then we noticed everything on register she later changed prices and voided extra scanned thing and total came to 23$ (this happened other day aswell it was 2nd time today)
After everything sorted out she didn't even apologised for that but said is this ok now (hum thik aa?) is a very rude and bad attitude.
Really disappointed.
I wished can give zero but no option. I have been there today to buy a sweet for my brother tomorrow for “Raakhi’ and they wreped “Moti chur laddu” in brown bag, I am unable to upload image here, what I have been severed last minute shopping. IAH think, I should go to another store, then This is my first and last visit to this store and for my friends and family and theirs. And no customer service I have found and worse at all as three girls where busy to talking about their permanent residency and another job. Why. You open business if you what to serve someone with there emotion.
Not happy with this outlet. Prices are slightly expensive. Staff is very laid-back. I bought Dood burfi, the lady purposely took the one which was not fresh and packed it. Since I realized late after reaching home, I couldn't return it back. Not recommended for sweets and other prepared savouries by the shop.
I visited India at home, Parkmore shopping centre on Sunday the 22nd of October 2017. The customer service is so poor and the operator billed me incorrectly, charged me over and above for 2 packets of pappadums. Terrible service, most of the items are expired.
First time shopping at this place. Bought chakri (snacks), which was made of outdated oil and tasted yuck. Also noticed dosa powder, kept on shelves were expired. I dont live nearby area therefor, could not go back to get refund.
Mostly all products are expired and going to be expired in 10-15 days so be careful what you are buying form this store.
