We had a home built by a high volume builder. There were many defects that were noted at the time of hand over, and some significant issues that arose within 2 years of living in the house. These issues were not addressed by the builder, despite countless promises to do just that. The builder was one of the first to go into liquidation in 2022. We engaged Brad to undertake a comprehensive building inspection for us. His knowledge and attention to detail were exceptional. He prepared the required documentation listing all the issues we had ready for submission to VIMA. He was onsite with us on the day the insurance assessor visited to ensure that nothing was missed in the assessment. Our claim has been approved. We look forward to having the defects rectified. None of this would have been possible without Brad assisting us. My only regret is that we did not engage him to do an inspection for defects at handover. If I was to build again, I would engage Brad at every inspection step of construction, prior to sign off by a building inspector used by the builder. Brad is exceptional, honest, professional, skilled and knows what he is doing. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone needing a building inspector.
