4Love this school. As a student over the years I have found the teachers to be highly skilled and there are lots of fun opportunities for performing and recording. Most importantly though, is the welcoming, accepting & supportive environment they have cultivated. The real strengths lie in the relationships and confidence building this business can provide.
My daughter loves to sing and we were looking or a place where she could have singing lessons but also have the opportunity to perform. So glad we found In Session. She really thrived here and loved taking part in the end of term concerts and particularly loved the big end of year concert. The teachers are lovely. We went through quite a few as a result of changing family schedules. Elizabeth was always very accommodating and was always happy to make the sessions work for us. We no longer attend In Sessions as we have gone in a different direction. Looking forward to returning when the time is right and would highly recommend it. We will miss it! Until we meet again!
Am disappointed, am a muso and have played in pubs and bars for a couple of years I went to Liz and her team to pick up on some bad habits and refine my voice.
After the first two lessons I found myself leaving well warmed up but little else there was no working on specific techniques. I attributed this to possibly being that I only have a half hour so I paid for full hour sessions and it was more of the same very vague critiques if any (and I'm not so good as to have no feedback:)
I contacted Liz three lessons in explaining in a nice way my concerns and nothing changed.
After having paid $77 a lesson and nearly $400 for the month. I was uncomfortable continuing I did not attend the last session was not offered a refund only lip service.
I'm sure the service they offer kids wanting to learn to sing is fantastic but would not recommend to anyone looking to advance or to anyone with a musical background.
