Gone down hill. Just ordered Uber eats and threw both meals in the bin what a waste of $50 wise up

A great family run deli. The owners are friendly and welcoming. They have a great variety of fresh produce and treats from home.

I was recommended the rare roast beef sandwich, that is hands down the best sandwich I have ever tasted. I woke up the next day wanting another… 10/10 guys, also try the chunky chicken avocado! Another amazing selection.

Ready made meals are great in quality and quantity. Definitely grab a hotdog if you want a snack, the sausages they use are beyond amazing! Not the cheapest but happy to pay a little more for a good product.

Awesome deli sandwiches well worth the price, and the soups are awesome…as is the cheese selection! Love it.

The home-made soups are absolutely divine. The owner's passion is exhibited in quality of taste of the dishes coupled with friendly & humorous service. Will definitely return fer schure

Had the smoked salmon sandwich. Unsure if it was a one off or permanent change, smoked salmon was salted beyond belief. No matter how I tried to take this down with water, I just couldn’t. The salt content on this particular sandwich was through the roof!

The sandwiches here are absolutely unreal.
From the spreads they use, to the soft fresh bread.
It’s almost a weekly visit from me

Ever rude staff i’ve seen
they don’t know how to treat their customer
and may be their food is sour as they speak
I prefer never to visit them as they can make ur day very bad, even worse.

Bottled supermarket iced coffee (eg Dare, Farmers Union) poured onto a small takeaway cup isn’t what your customers expect to find or pay for.

I feel deceived - at least tell your customers what they are consuming. Seriously considering taking this further as someone could have an allergy to these products and ingest without knowing.

I worked for the company that makes these products and I expertly know their taste profiles.

Now that’s a sandwich! Been looking for a proper stuff deli sandwich since moving to Melbourne. Think I have found it,

Sandwiches have gone downhill. This place use to be known for extremely generous sandwich fillings. The whole, caramelised onions on the roast beef sandwich were a big part of this but seem to have been replaced by a thinly spread diced version. The roast beef was also dry and over cooked. For the high cost and reputation we were left very disappointed.

Otherwise very friendly staff and a nice range of small goods.

Very disappointing customer service.
The guys ok but his wife is a rude aggressive piece of work. She was so condescending when I complained about the ' raw' lasagna. No cooking instructions (apparently my fault for not asking). Who serves an uncooked pasta dish! Avoid this place, they aren't very nice people and the foods awful (and not cooked)!

A great local deli with an excellent selection of imported and local smallgoods, cheeses and deli items. However the best reason to visit here are the sandwiches. Made to order and generously portioned, these are all fantastic. The roast beef is the standout, however the chicken, salami and ham are all amazing as well. Great for a nice lunch!

I have been frequenting In a pickle deli for a few years now and can honestly say as a starting point that they make the best sandwiches in Melbourne! On top of that, the range of fresh deli goods they have is top quality. I’ve even called in on the way home to pick up a tasty lasagne for dinner when I haven’t wanted to cook.
The staff their are always friendly and smiling, thanks guys and keep up the awesome work!

The owner is such a nice bloke, his sandwiches are delicious and he always has a range of English snacks and treats he imports.

I got food poisoning here, was sick for 2 weeks.i used to always just get salad sandwiches here and never had any issues, then one time i ordered one of their pasta dishes and it was the only thing i had that day so had to be that.wont risk it again.

Delicious food and the mostly lovely staff! I’ve gifted their Lasagnas to many mums with newborns. Highly recommend.

I love this place! Hands down the best roast beef sandwich. But it's a simple gesture that wins my loyalty, they remember my name and they use it when they speak to me when I walk in the door. Not over done trying to impress, just a simple and genuine gesture that makes you feel "I'm welcome, im valued, and I'm important to their business" good work crew, best little deli in town.
