Would highly recommend for anyone looking to learn Jiu-jitsu

I began my Muay Thai journey at Immersion 5 years ago, from knowing nothing about Muay Thai to having the opportunity to compete. The atmosphere is relaxed if you want to just train for fitness, but if you want to take it more seriously, the coaches will give you every opportunity to compete. There is no lock in contracts and have been very supportive of me pausing my membership while dealing with injuries.
Definitely recommend anyone of any level to check out this gym!

Since joining 3 years ago, I haven't looked back since. Immersion has a rare combination of qualities, which include a family-friendly culture, down to earth staff and high caliber of technical coaching. I couldn't recommend another club for others to join and visit!

Immersion is an inclusive and a supportive environment that embraces all ages, stages of learning etc. Grateful for the vibes and the culture that the coaches bring to the place. Would highly recommend!:)

I tried many gyms before finding Immersion MMA, and there are many very good gyms around Melbourne but few are exceptional. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the coaches are extremely skilled and professional and make learning fun and rewarding. They continue to coach and develop members long after joining and are approachable for beginners and advanced students. The only thing better than starting your Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey, is starting it here. See you on the mats.

I joined Immersion around 6 years ago. Having been to different gyms in Melbourne and overseas, I can confidently say that this gym is world class.
The coaches are both one of the best in the world, and yet, also are great and encouraging with beginners.
What also makes a great gym is the people. You’ll find people from all walks of life here, which you’ll find out as soon as you step through the doors.

Around 5 years ago after researching various gyms online looking for a place to start training BJJ as a super nervous, fairly shy, and reserved individual I walked into immersion MMA to start training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Little did I know I had struck GOLD with such a friendly amazing place to start training!
Having moved to Australia from England alone I didn't know anyone at all here in Australia and from the beginning everyone was soo welcoming it was more difficult not to come back everyday than it was to come back! Now 5 years later Immersion MMA and all its members there became like family to me, everyone is soooo friendly, supportive, positive, caring & rewarding to be around!
Immersion MMA is defiantly the best place to start any martial arts journey if your a beginner and if your not a beginner and re-locating near by its certainly the place you need to be!

Joined here about one month ago and I’ve already loving the people here, very friendly family oriented kind. The teaching by mini Dave and James is very detailed, so is good for white and all belts colour. You’ll get to learn heaps of small details and the instructors are always there to help whenever u need

As someone with 9+ years martial arts experience, Immersion is a very beginner-friendly place. The staff and coaches at this gym are all highly-skilled BJJ practitioners as well as excellent communicators and teaching styles. Highly recommend!
