Imaging Associates Mitcham

I had a mammogram here (for the first time) and the service was amazing. The lady was patient, understanding and explained me everything. In my case, it was tricky to get all the images right the first time, and she really put a lot of effort to make it right, tried different things/angles with the machine etc. I am really pleased with the service and I highly recommend it.

I have a lifelong injury in my neck after a cortisone injection at Imaging Associates. Without checking that I understood the procedure that was going to be performed, Dr Lee came into the room and inserted a long needle into my cervical spine at the side of my neck. When I expressed that this was giving me pain and huge pressure, instead of pulling the needle out immediately, he injected all around the area instead, and proudly told me he'd done so, therefore damaging nerves and leaving me in a state where I have had to undergo expensive physiotherapy every year since.

Dr Lee neglected to communicate with my doctor about this mistake, and neither of them ever offered me any assistance or advice while knowing I was in chronic pain from his cortisone injection. Imaging Associates behaved very defensively about this incident. They appear to be far more interested in the financial implications of giving cortisone injections, than any benefits (or serious risks) to patients. Avoid.

There is a health concern when you go to Imaging service (not going for fun), so relying on the booked time and appointment day. As per my experience (terrible), I recommend who is reading this consider another place. You can NOT rely on their promise due to poor planning.

Unorganised place in my idea. I have booked appointment ten days in advance for an ultrasound, without checking other service providers and planned for the day (be fast, kid's school pick up/drop off, work leave arrangement,) then
I received a phone call one business day before the appointment that you need to rebook as it's device maintenance time. Wow, seriously! You don’t have any regular plan for maintenance to tell your staff don’t book appointments with patience.

Booked for my daughter's hip untrasound.waited than half an hour and staff and operator were so rude and unhelpful.my baby cried a lot for long time waiting but staff was unable to help to answer where is the parent room, even not tell there is no. Operator was rude and even blamed my baby cried so that they can't do the scan, not due to their poor technique. Do not recommend to anyone especially with baby.

40 minutes ultrasound, and more than 20 minutes just focus on baby's heart (they said its not a problem, we just checking) and no talking and discussing during ultrasound.

Really great place. The lady that did the ultra sound was amazing. I've been to several imaging places and this one is by far the best.

Terrible place. The radiographer were terrible and just want to rush through the job. No care nor attention to the well being of the patient. Avoid this place at all cost.

Great professional experience! I have had xrays, mri (s) and ultrasounds at the various branches- Box Hill and Mithcam. Premises are impeccably clean, modern environment, staff are extremely professional and courteous. Report results available asap! Compared to other companies who take many days/weeks. Parking easy to find. I would highly recommend.
