Reminds me of Chicago deep dish pizza! But better with the traditional Italian base. The pork sausage is a blast. The best thing is the service, extra personal.

Best pizza in the Northcote/Thornbury area. And probably further than that too.
And covid hasn't changed that one little bit!
You can get now prepared pizzas ready for the oven, they take 6-7 minutes in the oven and taste mint!

Best pizza around the area! We had the garlic and cheese focaccia, $10 Margherita and Ortolana pizzas. I’ve been searching for an Ortolana that would take me back to my childhood and I’ve finally found the place to get it!
We had an order mishap and the staff were so lovely, remade part of our order and gave us a bottle of wine. It wasn’t necessary but so appreciated and shows how going above and beyond leave a good taste in your mouth.as well as the scrumptious pizza! 100% our #1 from now on. Thank you guys

We went here for a birthday dinner. The service was average. I was surprised when the menu offered ‘fries pizza’. It was disgusting. Other than that it was okay

Yes, another pizza place.
Is there room for another one, well, yes if it meets the expectations of a what a good pizza should consist of and this place does.
It caters for all tastes and does it brilliantly from Vega options to meat lovers in a simple no fuss menu.
All this comes at a premium price.
If you are looking for bulk at low pricing then go to Domino's, however if you want a wood fired pizza made in a traditional way then you cannot go pass this suburban venue.
It is busy and during peak times bookings are essential which tells you the pizzas must be good.

Incredible pizza and lovely staff. A spelling mistake on the wall next to us was annoyingly all I could notice once I spotted it but it could all be forgiven at the taste of that pizza! Highly recommend.

Amazing woodfire pizzas, the oven they have is huge and they can have your pizza ready in 5 minutes, fun to watch the pizzas rotating.

Great place for authentic Italian cooking. We get the Margherita pizza and the tiramisu every time, and I'd highly recommend them. The pizza is traditionally made from Southern Italy. The tiramisu is interesting, it's more cream and less cake/bourbon/espresso. I like it because it's not super coffee enriched, which means I won't be kept up too late. The venu is also nice, which is a plus. They are family friendly, and the owner is lovely.

Haven't had pizza this good in a long time. The service was quick and friendly. The pizza itself was delicious with a perfectly-cooked crust and just enough toppings to be flavoursome without being overbearing. There are lots of options on the menu to choose from, including a nutella dessert calzone which should definitely be on your list.

A great place to take the kids, catch up with friends or even take a date. The restaurant pulls of the classic woodgrain Italian decor while remaining a modern dining experiance. It can be fairly noisy at times but that's not their fault.

Quite simply, the best Pizza in Melbourne IMO. Go and see Frank, friendly service, great food and drinks and make sure you order dessert!
