Delicious food and lovely staff. Had three pizzas and chilli chips. Went back to ask for a missing item (tiramisu which is also), and the front of house lady was so nice, and very warm when we went back to let her know. She quickly checked our order, then gave us the tiramisu without any further issues. Don’t hesitate to try this warm little pizza joint!

One of the best pizzas I’ve had in Melbourne with top notch service to boot. In a suburb with a sea of same same Greek offerings this place is a beacon in the night. Highly recommended.

Stumbled on this place by accident and had a wonderful experience. Intimate dining section. We were seated near the magic bookcase. Fabulous pastas. Great house red. They gifted us a dessert on our way out too. Highly recommend!

This is the best pizza in the Oakleigh/Clayton area (would also include Petrinos). Have dined in and ordered delivery. Beautiful ingredients, the dough is spot on and perfectly cooked. None of that artificial shredded ham nonsense here.

Dining in, the space is a bit tight, but it's a great experience, staff have personality and are attentive. Big fan of the rotating pizza oven, I could probably sit there all day watching pies go in and out.

I love Il maestro - always a winner. The pizzas are amazing (my fave is the Calabrese and my mates really like the meat deluxe and the Mexicana) the focaccias are phenomenal and the tiramisu amazing too! They’re also so nice - have been coming for years!

The pizzas are wow, the service is Excellent, the atmosphere when you dine in is very chic, romantic and inviting. We stopped by for an impromptu quick pizza and were absolutely spoilt by the lovely staff. We will be back every chance we get. Grazie!

I have ordered takeaway dinners from il Maestro for years. The food is consistently great and full of flavour. They have their own delivery people so order direct from their site if you can. Highly recommended.

This place is amazing! The wood-fired appetiser brushetta pizza was incredible! As well as the pasta mains! Pricing for food is reasonable for the excellent quality and portion size! We were lucky enough to get a table for 2 at short notice in their quaint and nicely decorated dining area. The service was amazing - attentive, caring, thoughtful and very friendly. We will be ordering their woodfired pizzas and more next time!

The reason I gave this rating is not because the food is bad, it’s the old uneducated female that takes orders on the phone who constantly takes the wrong order and when I told her that this has happened 3 times in one month which becomes very frustrating especially when your waiting over an hour for a delivery, her comment was if you don’t like it go somewhere else. The way she continued to talk me I felt like I was speaking to someone who should be working at manure farm not as a receptionist at are pizza shop. I feel sorry for the owner who is a nice man. I suppose it’s unfortunate that he may not even no she’s like that. Oh well I guess I will be eating elsewhere from now on.

Amazing local hidden gem! The food is so tasty and cooked to perfection. Cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu! I would highly recommend Il Maestro, it is the best Italian food I have ever had.
