Ikon Park reviews
12Great place to watch footy. Being a smaller venue, it feels a little easier to get around for food, drinks & amenities. There is also ample undercover space for when the weather isn't ideal. Situated within a lovely local park grounds, it's pretty easy to access.
Went to the VFL grand final with my 9 year old son. Advertisements stated entry for children under 15 is free. Went to purchase my ticket and a ticket for my son. Was told by ‘Raj’ in ticket booth I needed to prove my sons age in order to get a free child ticket. He is 9 years old you idiot! Unfortunately I don’t carry his birth certificate and he doesn’t have photo ID or a proof of age card. Was slugged $15 for a concession ticket which isn’t much but I wonder how many other parents copped the same thing from this goose.
Old school stadium with character from yesteryear. Some redevelopment means there are reasonable seating options.
Went here for the opening AFLW match and another one the week after. Some parts are good, but lord is the lack of signage for the stands a problem. I don't know if it's just expected that it was general admission everywhere aka a free-for-all on seats, if not then I had no idea where I was meant to sit. It's a big stadium but still has a lot of local football vibes with the catering - under the main stand it's just some fridges and bain-maries with volunteers serving. I guess I just had too high expectations.
The football was good though, and it's easy to get in and out of the stadium.
Home of the Carlton Football Club, there must be something wrong with the ground, because the team train like champions, but when they go and play on other grounds they have no idea.
It was a cherry moment to be as actor of Hollywood, and felt comfortable being that man. Ruined at the end the by the Victoria police (POLE)
Nice ground. Went there for a practice match so wasn't too busy. Parking within a short walk.
What a beautiful stadium and the field was immaculate. We stayed to watch two AFLW matches in a row and the seating was very comfortable. A great view of the field and the score board was easy to read. The toilets were clean and plenty. There were food and drinks available.
To get into ground have to walk through metres of thick, deep mud.every second seat inside ground is broken and in much need of a refurbish.not the worst 30 million the government has ever spent.
Haven't been there for years. Really changed, grandstand we last sat in gone, modern new building. Great to see they haven't pulled down old wooden grandstand, hope it never does. Far to much history disappears these days.
Home of the Blues.
A team rich in tradition.
At present getting a huge upgrade which looks amazing.
Pop up shop at this time is gate 3.
Fantastic playing arena for VFL, pleasure to work at and can't wait until the redevelopment is complete.
