IKEA Restaurant

It's quite bad now or maybe just the timing of my visit.

We visited for dinner, lunch and the option is very limited (their chicken nuggies is not bad though).

Menu on the website is not the same as on sites although I think this could be on me as the fine print mentioned to check the store for confirmation of the menu.

The bistro stuff (croissant, cinnamon rolls etc) are not restocked so come early.

The meatballs with gravy, jam and potato is going to be my last meal on death row. This dish is divine and genuinely should be considered ambrosia.

My family visit IKEA and IKEA restaurant on Sunday regularly. We've noticed that the Pork ribs at IKEA restaurants are getting smaller with less meat on the ribs recently. We love the Pork rib at IKEA restaurant, which is why we often come to IKEA on Sundays to shop. But the Pork ribs are now a huge disappointment, and my two kids (ages 6 and 8) could very easily eat an entire serving of pork ribs. I believe most clients like me don't mind paying more for pork ribs, hopefully you can improve!

Food was decent for cafeteria standards. The salmon (though a smaller fillet) was cooked well and was yummy with it's simple flavour combo with the potatoes, sauce and beans. We had the children sized meatballs which is honestly great value for what you're getting (5 meatballs). I'd personally get two different menu items instead of one adult size meatballs unless you love their meatballs. Fish and chips was basic as you can see from the photo.

The pear cider was more diluted than the can cider you can buy but again this is cheap alternative (plus free refills). Don't have high expectations and you'll enjoy it. IKEA meals do the job while you burn off your energy browsing without breaking the bank!

I rated the service 1 star because we had minimal service. When ordering our food in which the servers just nodded and gave the food - very business like. It didn't bother me but there is really no friendly customer service.

Mate, IKEA have been popping off ever since opening here. You can't go wrong going here for a shop and meal. Spacious place, friendly staff, great tasting food. What more do you want? Spacious toilets, lounge area, you can spend a full day here mate.

This restaurant doesn't disappoint.coffee plus cakes and the trusty IKEA meat balls.
Staff are friendly and there is ample seating.

Claustrophobic and very slow to move about. Only wanted one thing but had to go through a maze of everything. Nearly to me an hour from parking the car and exiting. Could not do click and collect for things under $50.

Didn't have what I needed but had a wander around, not that I had a choice. I didn't know the short cuts. Was a pleasant wander around though.

Can't fault the food but presentation could be a little sloppy.

Meatballs are excellent, very consistent across all my visits. The mashed potatoes are good too with the gravy and the special berry sauce. The garlic bread is a bit stale as it had been sitting there in the bainmarie for a little while. The unlimited soft drinks are cool but the options are a little limited as some are out of order.
Overall it's an excellent feed and I would go back for more when I am in the mood for ikea shopping.

Always good affordable food. Don't go expecting anything fancy, it's cafeteria style but it's nice and it's great value for money.

Very few choices of meals for the amount of people about on a weekday. A constant flow of customers and line up should evoke more staff and more food choices. I chose the advertised plant based balls and the servery had none so I ordered a bowl of chips for $4.50!
The eatery was efficient and clean but a little pricey for a model marketed on value. I understand this is not a restaurant but more of a convenience, still I think if you are going to have a kitchen have more than a ¼ of it operational.
(for the few staff on, they were doing a great job at keeping the waiting line moving).

The food is cheap and decent. Good service and worth spend a day in IKEA. Also come with buying a cup or glass for a drink which is only $1.5 or $3

Classic ikea meatballs served here. They do vegetarian version of the meatballs. I don’t think they have the member free coffee anymore.

If you love shopping, losing yourself in a maze and fantasy.never mind it's IKEA.who needs introductions.
Unfortunately my bank balance and the total price of like.every item of ikea i want, don't match up. So IKEA, for this I hate you.
Unfortunately your products call to my nesting instinct, that hide deep within my darken soul awaiting to be awakened. This cannot happen currently, because I have children who don't appreciate the art of perfection and. "don't put your grubby fingers on my new IKEA piece" or "feet are ment for the ground, not my IKEA piece".
Till we meet again, I will continue to hear you call for me like a siren in the night, especially when i am in the house imaging you everywhere.

Good food excellent price, and you need to put yr own plates cutlery away after use which helps keep costs down.

Come on, who doesn't love a fat plate of these scrumptious meatballs (or the veggie ones I'm sure) ?

Both myself and my mother had the Mid Summer Meal which was great for me as it suited my dietary requirements and my child had the Fish and Chips.
I also love the idea that we get a cultural taste of Sweden too!
Portion was about right for Lunch!
I also had the Chocolate Almond cake which is always a nice treat with a coffee as it is as treats should be sweet and rich but not sickly!
I would recommend anyone on a budget to eat at Ikea Restaurants especially the breakfast menu!

Disappointing, went for the meatballs which are usually great. All I can say is they were extremely disappointing, not the same as they used to be.

No sausages so I was given double bacon which ends up being way too much, so I asked for some meatballs to substitute instead. I received an emphatic no I can't do that from the junior serving me. Just terrible and rude service. I ended up leaving the food and the cafeteria and went over to the M City food court instead.
Very poor, in fact quite pathetic lack of service from IKEA SPRINVALE CAFETERIA.

Nice to have a cappuccino after walking the aisles of Ikea. Good clean restaurant to even relax with family or friends.
