IGA X-press South Yarra reviews
20Most disgusting service I’ve ever had, rude shop keeper that is disrespectful. Shop elsewhere just wants your money
On our way home from dinner we needed wine and this place was conveniently located almost next door
Nice little surprise on the counter with $1.95 shots in ready made containers.lol we were already in a happy mood but these took us back to our youth!
Oh, found the wine we wanted too
The convenient store is beyond appalling and gives me the ick. Lacks quality control and competent staff. I often ignored the rudeness, loud music & strange sounds made by the personnel, but with the products being of such low quality (i.e. Melted ice creams that have been re-frozen and moldy produce) I prefer my money going to other stores that actually deserve it.
Convenient reasonanly stocked 24 hour store. Expensive but that's to be expected. Staff are friendly.
I was working night shift and stumbled across this 24hr IGA at 3: 00AM and thought that I’d pick up some bagels for breakfast. I did my usual inspection for mould which because I never trust late open places to have anything close to fresh, but still went ahead with the purchase. All the bread choices were neatly laid out and all looked to be good quality. I just arrived home at 7am to have a toasted bagel to find — every single one was riddled with mould on the inside! This is unacceptable and a total waste of money. I can’t even replace them living in the inner northside.
CHECK YOUR BREAD and DATES Thoroughly! They should of been removed. Typical male behind the counter on an overseas call.
Oh yes. 24 hours, 7 days a week store. Good to know there's a few 24 hours stores hiding around Melbourne
Absolutely disgraceful service! I ordered groceries from Uber eats and all the fruits were totally rotten! The items were: bananas, kiwis, cereal out date too. Delivery was done on the 12th of may around 6pm it’s unbelievable how these ppl chose the groceries for you, they absolutely don’t care. You can really tell the fruits were rotten and out of date. I guess through Uber eats all these ppl can get rid of the rotten and old food and give it to the costumer that is already at home but I hope the owner of this IGA read this and sack the person.
Great little 24hr grocery and alcohol shop. All the staff are great and really friendly. Prices are a little higher but you are shopping in an expensive area with no doubt high overheads. You are also paying for the convenience.
Absolutely disgraceful service! I got a delivery from this shop with missing items and I call them back to ask them what happened and they hang up my call many times! Extremely rude! They totally steal my money I feel robbed on the 30th of August 8pm in hope the owner of the shop read this review and sack the guy attending in this hour
Stay away from here at night time!
Also overpriced fruit and veg so go elsewhere if possible. May as well go to a gourmet/organic shop nearby will be paying the same and will actually be helping a small business directly.
Exactly what you imagine from a typical IGA - small, fairly cramped, not a vast range, over priced etc. For a company that keeps banging the “support local” drum they could support us and at least try not to gouge on the pricing. I mean, you’re a supermarket yeah? You’re not really offering anything greater than a standard Coles or Woolies.
Kinda like a fancy 7/11 with worse hours.
Staff always look either annoyed or angry at either me or my partner when we buy anything and the prices are through the roof
Terrific store and tidal gem @ Sth Yarra.
Love the team, service and range. Great people - happy to recommend.
Convenient store, Friendly staffs as well as the staffs. Moreover they are open for 24/7!
Can’t wait to shop more from you!
Always running out of things, can never trust them. Will have something one week then the next they won't. Happens consistently
The store has a decent selection of product a for the size but is on the more expensive end compared to the IGA further down the road or organic store across the road.
Friendly shopping environment.wide range of lines compare to small stores.very good pricing on liquor and tobacco.now they have got hot food and ready meal you foodz available.
Great for convenience but pricing is not how 'the community benefits' definitely not value for money
Friendly staff but the small range of products comes with the high prices toical of a convenience store.
The sales are all right but there is a larger iga that's pretty near by for better range of goods
