All the packets of beans were left to defrost and were then refrozen. Every bag is a solid clump of ice and all the beans have freezer burn. I also wouldn't recommend the tinned chickpeas. They have a nasty after-taste.

The shop is handy.but they keep changing the staff especially the butcher section. I can understand the staff situation at the moment but this time I came across the rudest staff ever with such a attitude that i felt he was literally doing a favour selling meat to me and the behaviour is like take it or go to another. I'm not returning there anymore.

Sister Huma who work at Iga she is very kind and deal customers so well, I have no regrets buying from iga halal and fresh meat always available there allover the staff is very kind, excellent customer service, thank you Iga for providing us halal goods

Meat is Halal and very reasonably priced.cheaper than Preston Market or many other Butchers in the area.they have veg and fruit specials weekly.

A worker by the name of Huma was extremely disrespectful and I had a bad experience, the costumor service was bad and I saw rats in the store but the workers didn't seem to care

A must try item "Coconut biscuits" they sell at the counter.

I am a regular customer of this outlet but today I was very surprised by the attitude of the check out staff. I brought my own bags for the shopping rather than paying 15cents for the bag. I was astonished that the lady refused to put my groceries in my bag and I have to put all my groceries by myself. Very disappointed. Their higher management is awesome but floor staff need training.

You will get wide range of halal meat and other halal groceries, lighting and arrangement should be improved.

No one was there to help customer waited there for 15 minutes for some one to come and help even Staff don't know the prices of things time wasted.

Worst customer service I’ve ever seen in any local store, literally the guy (employee) is repeatedly using f**off to customer in front of 10 other customers even the the lady employee trying to stop him but fails, wow so shocking! I hope the boss have taken some action against the male employee. Need to think again before visiting the store.

Varieties of items available. Special items like Zam Zam water and Ajwa dates. Excellent customer service.

Masala like Shan and National are very cheap here, around 1 dollar.while most of groceries sell them for minimum 1.40
Didn't find good quality basmati rice. Probably they were out of stock at that time.

New management keeps pride in customer satisfaction. I saw the owner himself assisting customers in store. Making sure each and every customer is satisfied with their purchase and service

Cheap prices. I can find everything here. During rush hours the check out counter and meat section can become crowded

Great place for grocery. Best meat according to me especially chicken.
But they need to improve their customer service especially the girls at the checkout are sometimes plain rude.
And they also need to manage their prices are they are always changing and every staff member tells a different pricing.
Overall its a great place.

It's renewed! I believe they are getting their customers back. Lots of middle eastern items are available now again. Friendly staff is always a plus.

We find our essential thing here, but yeh.nowadays food is not fresh as before (after change the owner).

Small inventory. Prices are better at Coles & aldi, I believe. But it's one of the goto grocery shops for people in fawkner since it's centrally located and not as far as the nearest coles & aldi

Very bad place to buy meat and grocery, always had worst experience and nobody care about that in IGA. Even owner of IGA is not mature person and sadly I have to say he does not have ethics and sense of talk. Prices of meat are like fire. Not recommended anyone.

Convenient for groceries and near my home. Can always rely on them to open even on public holidays and late night shopping. One thing they need to work on is their customer service skills. Greet with a smile and at least say "hello" or "how are you". One of the girls at the deli, when I asked for something they didn't have, instead of saying sorry we don't have it, just used her mouth "tskk" like the typical Arabs when they say no. Which I find very rude.
