IGA San Remo reviews
40This place saved us during the Christmas period. The number of times we came here lol. Staff are lovely and friendly. Quick at checkouts too. Thank you!
Great local supermarket, fabulous product range and really friendly staff. I love shopping here.
Fantastic local supermarket.
Lots of specialty and gourmet items.
Very friendly staff.
Excellent customer service, very helpful and the girl really knew her alcohol except for one drink that I wanted but it is uncommon in that area to be fair
Serves the community well. It has all your needs and hot food in the deli for convenience. Staff friendly. It's an all around good store
This is a great iga. Nicely sized & has some greag bargains. The meat is always so fresh its our favourite place to get it on sale.
Edit: 30/6/22 clean well stocked store.
We only went to the IGA in San Remo due to the power outage on Phillip Island and not being able to buy anything hot. We bought a hot chicken, several yummy salads and really good middle bacon were pleasantly surprised with the selection, quality and the prices of the deli products. We will definitely shop there again.
Nice store. Has most of everything you need. Staff Responsive to customers needs. Friendly. Clean. Licensed. Good produce.
Well stocked with friendly staff. Good range of products available to purchase. Easy to enter and exit with ample parking.
Been shopping here for years. Vast variety, truly competitive prices and friendly, efficient service!
Always a good shopping experience at Sanny for decades.great staff always grass roots courtesy.
I've driven past for literally years now but never had a need to stop. Well wasn't I surprised at this unobvious hub of supplies. This store is seemingly big & has a nice, inviting atmosphere. I only had to grab a couple of things but I really did notice how clean & well presented the store is. The staff I encountered seemed genuinely polite & attentive. Being that it is possibly the main provider to the San Remo area, I didnt give it the consideration it deserved. Well done San Remo IGA.
Outside signage is confusing. It looks like a liquor store from the outside. Its only when you go inside you realise it's a supermarket as well. Layout is fine staff were friendly prices only moderately inflated.
Opening hours are signed as until 8pm. Drove in from Wollie and turn up at 7: 05pm where the store is being closed - am advised early closing is due to shortage in staff due to Covid. Been open for 11 hours and couldn't remain open for the final hour due to a shortage in staff? Seems odd. If you want to close early, close early - but don't use the Covid excuse when you've been open all day and then tell us you'll reopen at 8pm. Really poor form guys.
Just bought an Euro Salad Kit f and found 2 dead flies in it.
Seriously? Do you ever check the quality of products selling to people?
Happy to send photos to whoever is responsible. I will definitely issue a case to stop this shop selling rubbish products.
Great staff, very good product range and easy parking in the carport at the back of the supermarket.
This is the sort of supermarket that the big ones should base their businesses on.
Very clean always fresh produce available and staff 10/10
Miller on the Deli is very good at her job I rang and inquired on Grandmother Ham, lovely phone manner, I drove from Wonthaggi to buy some at 7pm, Miller served me and I felt comfortable and will go back again, thank you Miller, cheers Paul Evans
Though it’s quite a small store, it does have great variety. Given that the nearest supermarket is probably the Coles or Woolies in Cowes, this is definitely the best place to stop. Staff are friendly as well which is a plus
