IGA Coburg reviews
14 Been a long time customer, almost daily for about 4 years. If you are going to look me in the eye and tell me that you are going to charge me max price because I don't have your stupid loyalty card I will walk out, go to Woolworths, and not return. I don't have time for your stupid games.
IGA is not about range, or price. It's about convenience, and you have removed that aspect of shopping there.
Staff here are exemplary. Always a friendly word and smile and really helpful.
Supermarket itself has great prices and a full range of everything.
Can't recommend highly enough!
Great local with a decent range of items, can be slightly more expensive than Coles or Woolies, but it makes up for it with good service and different offerings like locally made fresh and frozen foods, fun drinks and varying selections of hot food. If you need alcohol too, there’s an adjoining bottle shop which you can check out with your groceries.
I’m new to the area and I love having this goodie close by. They have a yummy selection of vegan cheeses and $2 incense (love that) they’re coyo yogurt is also $6 compared to coles and Safeway it’s $9 … $3 cheaper and it wasn’t even on sale. They have a good selection of groceries. The staff seem lovely and kind which makes the sometimes tedious grocery shopping chore much more pleasurable? ️
The counter person does not have any manners. I was waiting in the line and he straight passed a judgemental statement saying are you Uber guy? You look like uber guy?
How can he judge me on the basis of How i look?
My background is preety strong enough and I dont need to prove me but he didnt even apologise and at the end he was giving me a smile?
This isn’t acceptable behaviour in customer service. You need to look onto this. Worst experience with IGA Brand
This IGA is a part of its community from stock to staff. I always find what I need and am often delighted to find new things. The staff are what make this a fantastic local store, though. They’re efficient and professional but they also remember you and are polite and friendly to everyone.
I had been at IGA in Coburg seeking some items during shopping, when I had approached a staff member for assistance. They had replied that they would assist me for cash which had taken me by surprise and I was in shock at at the particular notion.
There were a few items not available at the shelf and also expensive.
Great staff, friendly and very helpful.
Majority of things it has and roast chicken lovely and only $7 dollar or so great for last minute dinner and bottle shop even better
Items are consistently over-priced at checkout compared to shelf price. So often I am overcharged by 30c per item I simply have to believe that 30c per item is intentional price gouging.
Whenever I have spoken with the store manager regarding a refund he treats me with utter contempt.
They have everything there and are reasonably priced compared to supermarkets, the Deli section is really good because you can buy feta cheese for a quite cheap and great olives and they always have specials.
If you're a local and you spend over $35 I believe you get a discount on your groceries just let them know that you are a local
The owners are friendly, always nice service, always great, fresh fruit and they also have a table with specials on which I love going for (bargain hunt)
Expensive, and whole store stinks of roast chicken. Not very pleasant. Shop assistants seem friendly enough though.
I bought some chicken and it was rotten.
Today a bought a piece of garlic for 2 dollar, what a rip off
The owners and their staff are super friendly, they always greet you with a smile on their faces! I love the extensive variety of food this IGA has. You are missing out if you do not shop here!
