IGA reviews
22 I am a walker who likes to consume chocolates, iga offers me a variety and a pleasant price, I also get other consumer products. I recommend visiting them, they are very necessary for the city.

They have many essential groceries, but too expensive! I only buy the ones with special offer
This store has all the essentials you may need either working in the city or if you are visit Melbourne and staying in the city. For me I purches drinks and snacks, service is always good, pricing isn't bad at all, very convenient location. You won't be disappointed.
Friendly staff, range of fresh produce & handy liquor store - it’s not a fully stocked supermarket, obviously, but does what it does well.
I just went in for dogfood and toilet paper. They tried to charge me $58. Quilton 6pk $4.50 on the label on the shelf.as sometimes things are in the wrong place i double checked the item. In the past when i was surprised by a price they have said i must habe read the wrong label. Reading below it looks like they were just gaslighting. Dog food was unlabeled but it was a cheap kind. Went to counter. TP scanned at $8.11. Guy refused to look at shelf about the toilet paper label. Then he manually put in dogfood at $50 for my 1kg bag. A normally $9.90 bag at woolies. I was like.i think you have made a mistake. He walks away then comes back saying its actually $40. We are 1 block from woolies and even through uber eats you can get dog food delivered for like $20, it is even a better type than the one these guys have. Avoid the deliberate misleading with incorrect tags and insane mark ups of double and triple. Convenience has a price so pay it to your uber eats delivery driver coming from another IGA and get it to your door for less than half what these guys are expecting.
Check prices before paying as they over charge. Realised they over charged me at the counter and brought it to the attention of the server who told me I was wrong, after I pointed out the price on the shelf they mumbled something about giving me a discount then charged me the correct price. Make sure you check how much they are charging before paying or just don't shop here.
Convenient to have a supermarket so close to work. Small store, but still has all you need including great lunch range! Very friendly, helpful staff.
The go-to place for pretty much everyone in my neighbourhood! Although there are a couple other stores nearby, IGA has got a great selection of products and a fresh stock like no other. No matter what time of the week, I always see fresh and full stock across the store. I always find almost everything I need there.
The staff are professional and very customer friendly. They wouldn't mind walking that extra mile to provide customers with what they want.
All in, I have had a good experience with the store for over an year now. I would totally recommend the store to everyone out there!
Thank you IGA!: D
The staff was rude and was not friendly enough. He gave us the old bread which was spoilt and when we went to replace them he dint help us at all. He responded carelessly and not concern regarding the consumers health. He told he can sell things at higher price and he does not know which item is on offer and which is not in offer. Very bad customer service. Please dont buy things from IGA express exhibition st.as they dont check stocks.
Please don't purchase anything here
they are selling expired product at low cost (offer) which is not at all appreciated and it may even cause severe problem to our health. Price in tag was different from price he entered in the bill.when we ask anything for clarification, staff behavior was so rude.i wanted to give 0 stars but I don't have any option.
My wife bought a Dare iced coffee here this morning and took a sip only to realise that it was 2 weeks past it's use by date. She is now vomiting. Any staff responsible for stock control and rotation should be immediately fired since they are clearly useless wastes of space.
Hardworking boys.
This IGA always have the best deals available for the customers.
If you live nearby don’t miss out.
Often the cashiers will not scan items and manually input their own prices, leading to frequent overcharging.
It's alright. Doesn't have that big of a range and the prices aren't competitive as other well known 'express' versions of other supermarkets. A number of items didn't have a price tag which was a bit annoying.
Owners of the store are indeed rorting the card pay system. I agree with previous reviews implying this "SCAM". Went in to purchase a drink which was $3.29. The cashier typed in $4.00 without scanning the drink. I then told them that its $3.29 which they immediately adjusted to the actual price.
Store is most likely family owned and run which allows for this sort of unethical practice to occur. To be honest I dont know they could even get away with this, its essentially theft amd probably deserves a class civil action.
This place is really a hell on earth. Temp. Was around 40 degree inside while outside was nice cool day. I brough two canned peas, baby food, red wine and some chips, all were waste
Red wine tasted like boiled one
Chips had oil come-out due to high temp.
Canned food was waste too
Did not dare to open baby food
I came from Sydney and had flight back in night otherwise i could have gone there to throw everything on their face.
They forgot heater on
So bad experience, wasted $30
all ended in bin
Small grocery store near CBD - not a wide range of produce, but most of the groceries you might need.
Wayyy too expensive! One packet baby wipe nearly $6-$8,2 lynx body sprays $15 I guess when its close by and u desperate you"ll pay
Prob explains why woolies, coles and aldi is the best
Friendly staff though
SCAM ALERT. Check your invoice and when the item is scanned through the register. One price in the aisle - a lot higher price when you pay.
Scam warning.
I've was staying in the hotel above the store so I went there a few times.
I was about to pay when I noticed they decided to scan an extra can of soup that I wasn't getting. They didn't seem too pleased when I asked them about it.
Double check the prices they're scanned at and make sure nothing else is added on that you aren't buying.
