iFix Roofing

We have used iFix Roofing for a couple of jobs, and have been really impressed with their excellent service, professional attitude and the quality of their workmanship. Great value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend iFix to anyone needing a new or restoration of their roof.

Simon and the iFix Roofing team did an incredible job installing a new roof on my old cottage... A job that a couple of other companies couldn't be bothered even quoting on!
The quote was really clear and comprehensive and Simon was upfront about the potential for additional costs if depending on the state of the underlying timbers. Communication leading up to the week of the scaffold being erected and the roof being removed was great. The installation went smoothly and additional structural timbers were added to the job with ease. They cleared the site and took away all of the rubbish swiftly.
I'm thrilled with the look and quality of the final product and wouldn't hesitate to recommend iFix Roofing to anyone - especially if you have a heritage property.

My experience with this contractor is less than positive. Received email stating that this review is misleading & incorrect with threats of legal action against the experience I had with them & my subsequent opinion of their service. 2 out 3 leaks fixed are but still the main one isn't. Has now been given at least 4 opportunities previously to fix the issue however has now said will just pursue legal action for defamation of my opinion if this isn't removed by the 23rd September 2019.

Update response to your comment: It was your company we still have the threating emails (with your contact details & business information on it!) & recordings of the phone calls from ifix roofing for anyone interested. I can publish these if you would like & before you attempt to threaten us again it is perfectly legal to record conversations in Victoria on personal phones & there is NO obligation for a personal call to have both parties informed that is for business calls only!

After first contacting this company in january we are still waiting on our quote we contacted them and told them what day was suitable for us but would if they did return our calls would try and book days we had previously told was not suitable.they finally turned up unannounced and was not an appropriate time but we let them inspect the work that needed to be done but have had no contact from them since

I Fix Roofing did a terrific job repointing my tiled roof, replacing worn gutters and downpipes. Simon gave helpful advice and recommendations for my situation, and was happy to answer all of my questions.

Had a new roof installed by the team, it was leaking, it took 3 years to get them back to fix it.

I used the ifix boys for my renovation/extension. They pulled off all the old tiles and did a colourbond replacement. Awsome job couldnt recommend them anymore. Cleaned up everything and worked in with me. It wasnt a straight forward job but they got it looking awsome extremely happy with them. Thanks again ifix

Beware of these guys, they were disrespectful, rude and messed me about for 2 years. I had a new roof put on my existing house. They damaged my property and I had to argue with them to get it fixed. I made reports to the VBA and the Clean Energy Council, regarding their poor workmanship, both of which were acted on by the said departments. IFix Roofing refused to take responsibility for anything. Simon actually said I ‘wasn’t qualified’ to assess their workmanship. They damaged my instantaneous hot water service, the exhaust fan, installed illegal drainage, re-installed the solar panels incorrectly; twice! Each time I raised an issue I was talked down to and my concerns dismissed. They were the worst trades people I have ever dealt with. They abandoned the job before it was completed. I had to make complaints to the authorities to get the job finished.

It’s been almost 3 years since the initial quote for the roof replacement. You abandoned the job before the pandemic. It was left to me to chase up the authorities during the lockdown, which was extremely difficult. The job was finally completed March 2021 and I have the confirmation paperwork to prove this. Shame on you gaslighting me AGAIN.

My contract was with IFix Roofing. You employed the electricians. It was your responsibility to see the job completed and you did not. I did. I followed up with the electricians, the VBA, the Clean Energy Council because it all got too hard for you. The roofing bloke damaged my hot water system, the ceiling fan and he installed the dodgy drain work. If you are going to keep arguing about this I will keep updating this review. Because I speak the truth. You do not!

Three weeks to obtain a quote for a roof maintenance job, unsuccessfully. Have promised that their team would come to have a look twice, forcing us to have somebody available at home. Very unreliable and not very punctual.

I now have the most secure and attractive roof in Ballarat. When the wind blew in July I was able to sleep, confident that my roof would still be there next morning. Simon and his outstanding roofing specialists have completely repaired and cleaned my unsightly roof tiles. In addition, the awful laser roofing over the back deck and the carport have been replaced, allowing me and my family to enjoy hot summer days. Some old and very poor workmanship which left a considerable section of the laundry fascia prone to water damage was finally replaced. Last night, as Victoria endured a significant rain event, no water ran down the fascia. Thank you, Simon and your tradesmen. Each weekday as I collect my mail, I pause to admire my roof!

From initial consultation, to final delivery, the team at iFix has been phenomenal. Their commitment and professionalism to the task is second to none. Would definitely recommend for all things roofing.

What can i say? These boys were amazing.my tin roof was leaking in multiple areas and i called a number of roofing company's whom of which only ifix roofing called back in a matter of 2 hours. Despite being extremely busy they came out, worked out the issues with my roof and carried out the plumbing works in a timely manner and high standard. Couldn't recommend this company enough:)

Highly recommend Simon and Josh. Did a fantastic job on my full roof replacement. Everyone was very professional, behaved appropriately, got on with the work and cleaned up at the end of everyday.

Great to see someone who stands by their work to, we had a couple of minor issues and Simon was straight out fixed up the problem without question.

Would give no stars if I could. Very quick to come and quote. Once we gave the go ahead, we waited for a month for them to come and start. It then became a chapter of incomplete and incorrect attempts to do the work that had been quoted. Every aspect of the job had to be re-done - either to fix leaks, attach spouting correctly and remove a dodgy looking back flashing instead of what was quoted. They could not even clean up all the loose screws and other hardware from the roof, even when we asked for this to be done.
He was also very quick to send his bill - wanting payment the next working day.
NEVER, EVER AGAIN

At my first meeting with Simon, he was made aware that we would expect a very high level of workmanship, to be completed on time, on budget and with no hidden extras. He happily accepted the challenge, confident his team would deliver on all fronts.
