Terrible customer service, terrible technology. After daily phone and email contact it took 11 days to tell us that footage only lasts 7 or 10 days. Which we were asked to pay $1200+ for, after already paying a subscription.
This is a company that's sole purpose is to provide security and they don't store the footage for longer than 7 or 10 days (still waiting for exact number) and their motion detectors didn't detect people/peoples vandalizing property directly in front of a motion detector. Do not use and if you already do, get another company to provide your security.

This company I detect is the worst I have dealt with.
Their product is expensive and their service is BAD.
Their accounts department is the most worst place to deal with especially with Felicity who hands over to debt collectors without any pay arrangements to assist with customers trading terms.
Especially with the last two years of the covid 19 pandemic.
I would let all my building industry contacts know to NOT use this company and NOT to recommend to anyone.
Its now cheaper to buy your own camera and not rent.

I live next to a construction site that iDetect secure. The alarms have been set to 24/7 and they have been going off 4 days straight, WE;ve requested this be updated and have contact them on several occasions. The person we dealt with was extremely rude this company has terrible customer service. This has continued through the christmas period and we have had no assistance from iDetect Group.

As a member of the public who has a Security Licence I called this company to let them know there were lights on in 1 of the Clients Townhouses which are for lease in my street & no tenants have moved in. The time was 10.30pm approx. In 6 days no one has called me back!
So I wouldn't recommend to use them with that sort of attitude to not return calls regarding their business.

Horrible for the residents living around. Alarm screams all day and all night, (weekends and public holidays). Every 3 minutes something triggers it and then “alerts” all the sleeping babies in the neighbourhood for 2 - 5 minutes. [This goes on for months and months]
Stresses out the animals and is just in general an annoyance.

Worst company out. They do not respond when alarm goes off. They do not send out security to investigate. They do not answer texts or calls during the night because it wakes the owner’s family. They are happy to leave their alarms going off all night keeping neighbors awake all night just so long as his family gets their sleep.
They are happy to answer the calls during the day. Not many vandals or criminals are active during the day, though. So if this is the service you want idetect and Matt (rude) Dunn is who you are after.

Professional and friendly staff! IDetect have provided outstanding service and security measures for our construction sites. Would happily recommend and will be continuously using their services.

Effortless process with a well established and trusted brand. I found the idetect team Professional, always followed up in a timely fashion, ON TIME and explained how to operate the Watchdog and cctv system/control room response with simplicity and perfect efficiency. They even brought their own vacuum cleaner leaving my home in prestine condition! Thank you idetect, Alan Curtis and his tech team, especially John and Dennis. They certainly went above and beyond. Love this security system!

For once do not heed my username. These guys are deplorable. If a butterfly should flutter too close to their alarm - it will go off. And the best part, no one will do anything about it. So whether it's a cool autumn breeze or an actual threat, the end result is the same. Loud noise and absolutely nothing else.

I recently had a domestic watchdog system installed at our premises in Clyde North.
The watchdog is an innovative sensor/camera system for the internal and external walls of your house and detects intruders before they break in to your property in conjunction with a back to base monitoring system for that extra peace of mind.
The sales rep.was very friendly, informative and suggested a variety of options according to our budget and needs.
The technicians were prompt and the install was done with no hassels. They explained the system to us and gave their numbers in case of any immediate problems.
The only negative was that their needs to be greater collusion between the reps and techs as i found there was discrepancy in the technical information which inevitably led to us having to add another sensor for our required coverage of the backyard.
The company however agreed that there was a communication shortfall and were happy to give us the sensor for a discounted price.
Happy with system and no issues so far.
