1 came to get a door from ideal barn doors on Monday the 30th of May and again on Tuesday the 31st of May and both times we were unfortunately greeted by Amy as our sales person. She was extremely uninterested in lending assistance and when asked questions about the products within the showroom and would often reply in a condescending manner. She also verbalised not wanting to help us and used the "F" word Along with rolling her eyes when discussing a previous quote provided by another employee from ideal barn doors.

As someone who used to work in customer service I am absolutely appauled and embarrassed by Amy's behaviour and interpersonal skills. I would highly reccomend providing Amy with the required customer service training to ensure she is able to provide better customer service to assist customers with their general enquiries. I would also heavily encourage a person who is better suited to the role of a front of house employee.

I firmly believe if someone other than Amy were assisting us in our purchase, we would have been more incline to do business with ideal barn doors.

The actual door purchased was great quality and was delivered in a timely fashion. It was left at the warehouse for quite some time as we were building our home and wanted it to be kept safely until it was to be installed. Upon unpacking the door unfortunately there were two large dents at the top. When I contacted the company to advise they stated that as it had been purchased quite some time before they could not take responsibility for the damage. Quite disappointing considering that it is a great looking door but we have to look at these two large dents at the top of the door frame daily.

Ideal Doors are excellent with follow up service.
They replaced my barn door which was unfortunately damaged during delivery. Subsequently I required some spare parts as my installer let me down and these were sent prompt with additional parts at no extra charge. They responded quickly to my emails and I really appreciate the excellent customer service they provide.
