I used to always order cake from this shop. But my last two pick up experience was terrible.

The male staff insisted on me providing the order no whilst I provided him with the screen shot of the order confirmation (screen shot I took after I placed the order, no order no captured) and PayPal transaction as I never received any email from them. I was told if I didn’t receive the email that means I didn’t place the order successfully (that’s after I showed him the screen shot of order confirmation and PayPal transaction). He refused to/couldn’t be bothered to check their system. After complaining for a while, he reluctantly checked the record and gave us the cake (wasted so much time for the pick up).

Such a nice little gem. The cakes are unique and very refreshing. I would highly recommend the watermelon strawberry cake. Only downfall service is quite slow, need to shout out to the staff that’s trying to juggle many things.

Overall great cakes and will be back

My son's Pokémon-themed birthday cake from iCake Oakleigh was a delightful treat for all of us. The flavors were incredible, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The strawberry cream was beautifully paired with fluffy cake layers, making it a delightful combination. What impressed me the most was that the cake was not overly sweet, striking the perfect balance. The attention to detail and the quality of their products truly shine at iCake Oakleigh. Highly recommended for any special occasion!

Their cakes are nice don’t get me wrong, but don’t expect too much if you’re ordering custom cake as the customer service is not helpful, not friendly and abrupt. Don’t ask questions if possible, 2 is the max.

Order was cancelled after placing it through Menulog. It was advised that restaurant were unable to prepare and deliver. I gave them 8hrs of time and it was cancelled in the last minute. Just STOP auto accepting orders if you cannot fulfill it!

Super happy with our custom cake! The cake was moist and the design was exactly as we had asked for. Such an easy and stress free experience and it was all communicated through email. Delivery was on-time.

Terrible customer service and there is no guarantee you will get what you order, it all depends on luck. I ordered the cake on the left but because I don’t like Oreos I wanted them to use macarons instead. I was told they only have white or golden macarons which will not go well with the light grey blue cake, so they told me to buy my own macarons and they will leave spaces for me to put them on the cake myself. I asked them if light blue macarons will go well with the cake and the answer was ‘Yes’, so I went and bought light blue macarons thinking I will get a blue cake. But what they delivered was an almost completely white cake! (The 6 Oreos were meant to be replaced by three white flowers and three light blue macarons, macarons suppose to go in between the flowers). Because the colour of the cake is so different blue macarons no longer go with it, so I bought them for nothing. When I raise the problem with them they said they cannot promise the mixed colour cakes are the same every time and that it was my fault for
not telling them that I want the cake colours to be just like in the photo! Will never buy anything from them again!

Ordered a tiramisu cake box via Deliveroo. The photos on the app made the item look substantially larger than what it actually was. For the size of the cake box, $18 is a ridiculous price. Additionally, the cake box I received was just about expired (according to the label on it), but it tasted very very off. I had to throw it out because I simply could not trust that it was not already expired. Very disappointed with this experience overall; I will not be ordering from them again, nor will I be recommending them to anyone again.

Had Strawberry TNT cake for birthday dinner at home. Delivery was so quick and cake was delicious. I was a bit concerned looking through reviews but I had no problem with my order. Small businesses are suffering right now and it’s time to support them by leaving a good review! Thank you for your prompt service, keep up the great work.

I went to the store today to order a birthday cake as I bought some cakes from them a couple of times before. When I got there today, I asked if I can get the cake ready for a certain date. The two staffs looked so confused. One of them tried to communicate with someone else with a walkie talkie, while the other just stood there and said nothing. I repeated my question, and the one standing was yelling at the lady with a walkie talkie in Mandarin. I then asked again for the third time, and the staff who yelled at her colleague just gave me their business card and said “order here”. I was so confused as I ordered my cakes in this exact store in the past. When I asked why, she said: “this is just kitchen, we don’t take order”.

Well.the EFTPOS machine was right in front of my face and why opened a store if you don’t take order in store? I left the store feeling so confused that a business would turn down a regular customer just like that.

I guess no matter how good their cakes are, this experience just put me off and I will never buy a single cake from them anymore.

Pretty looking milk tea and lychee crepe cake but the positives end there. Was really looking forward to it based on reviews but there was way too much cream. Crepes were not thin or smooth so it didn't feel like a cake as a whole but just individual crepes stacked up. It was basically pancakes with alot of whipped cream.

Also, whilst waiting for the cake; noticed an older man in the prep area wiping down clearly dirty used boxes with a cloth. He would pick them up off the floor and place them onto the prep table. The girl that was prepping my cake threw a can into the bin, that same man picked it out of the bin, placed it onto the prep area and continued wiping down the boxes (without even washing his hands). Another girl that was making a cake came over to the man and told him that he missed a spot on one of the boxes (I really hope that they are not using it and serving it to their customers).

Safe to say that I will not be returning

Bought a few times. This time the cake just looks so different their pictures. Sad for returning customer.

This is an amazing cake shop! I am so in love with the premium high tea! The cakes are quite good and delicate to serve! Enjoy such a nice time here!

Only good thing so far happened in 2020 is that this our IG page completes one year. Wooohoo!

Not very welcoming. They have different prices before and after placing the order. Wouldn't recommend.

Stunning Cafe Restaurant. Very friendly staff. The decor in this restaurant is really pretty. The Rose Latte is the tastiest latte i have ever had. The food and cakes and beverages look amazing. I will definitely re-visit this place again and again.

Came back to order a cake from here and the service was fantastic and the cake was beautiful and delicious and fresh! They give you cake in a beautiful display box with a cake cutter, some spoons and plates and even sparkles! Amazing.

Cakes were not fresh with perished fruit on top. Awful. Won’t buy again. How come there are so many five stars with average score of 4.9? Must be fake!
