Reception staff were efficient and friendly.
MRI was not remotely patient focused! Totally unacceptable and will not return to I Med Box Hill

Great service for my husbands appointments. Except when he rang to ask questions about his upcoming treatment & possible side effects, he was told they’d tell him on the day…Too bad if he was trying to allay his anxiety & plan ahead. A few quick answers would’ve been nice.

Went today for MRIs (under sedation) such lovely, helpful and efficient staff in these trying times, with shortage of staff.

Nothing was to much trouble for someone who suffers from claustrophobia they help you though.

Very good service, all staff are really nice, very good care. Rob was really great. He made me less stressful by letting me know about what will be done and was really patient with me. Thank you very much ROB.

Took my son for a CT scan here today. It wasn't busy. The young lady behind the reception was very pleasant and polite. After checking our details we sat down, no more than 2 mins a man called my son in. 5 min later he walked out and all done. Wish all medical clinic is like this efficient.

The cold attitude of the reception is not proportional to the high, non-bulk billed, private hospital cost.

I went in for a Thallium Stress test to imed at Epworth Eastern. The experience I had was outstanding.especially the care, professionalism of 2 nurses. LIZ and JESS thank you, in fact thank you to all the imed staff. We are lucky to have such highly trained and caring medical experts.

These guys send a text claiming they called and ask you to call back. But reality is they never called (nothing in missed calls), it's a automated text from their system. They force you to call them and wait in the queue. I figured it out when it happened twice in a week at two different branches and once with my wife as well. No one ever calls, but they claim they tried. A bunch of lazy people. I will report them to the Ombudsman for misleading customers.

All staff I saw were very kind and patient. I booked for a MRI by mistake and needed to change it to an ultrasound test. The staff organised the test for me quickly, and I was able to have it without waiting. I want to give them 6 stars. Thank you, Maddie.

Sadly my experience was terrible. On booking the appointment I told the receptionist of not being able to have a contrast orally due to severe reactions in the past. Communication was the biggest let down here.
1. I advised them on the call, about my allergy to the contrast and was told I would have it IV.
2. I asked if I could get my bloods done and was told No, they did not do blood tests
3. I was NOT advised that I needed my blood test done prior to the MRI
4. On the day I was given a container with a straw. I asked what it was and told it was the contrast. I explained why I could not have it, and the person was quite miffed and asked why I had not told them when I called.
5. I made it abundantly clear when I making the appointment the reason why
6. Resulted in another wait till they could get a Dr for the IV
7. The Dr was great asked questions re previous history and the allergy etc - all good!
8. He checked with Pathology for recent results (very thorough) asked if I had them done, which I had not as I was not told these needed to be done prior to the MRI and also was told they did not do bloods there
9. As a result I could not have it done.
This waste of time could have been well and truly avoided if notes were added to the file about my allergy but also about the full requirements needed prior to having an MRI.
10. On booking another appointment (elsewhere) the difference in the two calls was unbelievable. Was even told I needed to fast beforehand which was also not told to me at Box Hill.
11. I have rebooked my appointment with another IMED, and the whole booking experience was completely different as chalk is to cheese, an absolute delight.
On a final note, a patient is just as important (if not more) as a customer is, in walking in to a store to buy something. The whole Customer Service experience here at Box Hill was bad from the onset. Even the Security person on initial entry was rude!

Got an online appointment and sent through a referral that was noted as bulk bill. Neither during booking nor after receiving a call from receptionist I was informed that it is not bulk bill. I was charged out of pocket while I didn’t have any other option as it was a week to my specialist appointment. Another rip off private radiology that keep you in dark and charge you while you have been fasting and not having other option.

Every aspect of dealing with this clinic was positive. Spoke with Emma during my initial call to book an appointment; she was very helpful and accommodating and took time to sort me out. On arrival, the clinic space is bright, clean and welcoming. Reception staff are all lovely and friendly, and the technicians I dealt with (Ying and Sarah) were both very professional, friendly, kind and thorough. At no time did I feel rushed, or like "just another patient". I was kept informed at all stages regarding procedures and costs. Thank you all for making it as pleasant an experience as it could possibly be.

Went to Box Hill I-MED for an MRI & was feeling very nervous. Each one of the technicians, nurses & Drs who I dealt with were amazing! So patient, understanding & caring! I was so overwhelmed by the service they gave, it made entire experience so much better - Thank you!

Very pleasant first booking experience. Lady on the phone was very nice to speak to and also she pointed out the parking locations too. Super helpful. My wife was very happy with her ultrasound appointment. Thank you & we will visit again soon.

A 5 star to all the girls in the radiology team. I went here for my mri.while I was waiting I saw the work Athics in the team which was just amazing to watch how they were dealing with the aged patients coming there. A Speacial kudos to Sarah who I think just goes out of the way to explain these elderly everything very slowly and with a huge smile in her voice as I cannnot see any faces.being in hospitals is hard enough but I can assure staff here is very well trained and are here to help the patients.

Very professional and stream line. I received excellent help from the team and really appreciate the time they took. The ladies at the front were lovely and very helpful and my MRI tech was great. Very good experience. Highly recommend.
