They say they are bulk billed then send me a text on a public holiday saying it will be $283 out of pocket. I call them to cancel but because it’s a public holiday am unable to. Honestly a rort, called another place and they said no out of pocket charge. Absolute bull that you can say you are “bill billed” but then offer a 2% Medicare rebate. Highly disappointed. Would give 0 stars if I could. Disgusting when your clients are people with medical conditions and you are taking complete advantage of them.

One of the worst experiences I've had in a healthcare setting. The woman that performed my ultrasound was awful and treated me like a child. I was very anxious for this appointment and really could of done without this woman's disgusting attitude. I ended up crying whilst laying on the bed. She spoke to me really bluntly and rudely with no care or consideration for myself. She seemed angry that I was there and almost went as far as telling me off, my doctor ordered the test not me. I wonder if it was a coincidence that I saw another woman leave crying whilst I was there. Absolutely appalling. Wouldn't go here again if it was free. People shouldn't go into healthcare if they don't care.

My wife attended this place this morning and was treated in an extremely rude and condescending manner by the staff at the front desk. Judging by the reviews on here it's pretty common at this establishment. My wife is of Asian descent, and unfortunately we've become accustomed to this kind of systemic racism over recent years. I will be informing our GP so she doesn't send others to go through the same experience.

They wouldn't do a GP-ordered chest X-ray for my three year old daughter who has a chest infection, because she has a cough (obviously) and is too young to wear a mask properly.

I had a great experience here. Went for my 20 week pregnancy ultrasound and was treated very well. The radiologist was very lovely and educated us well on everything she was doing. Even the receptionist was lovely and I was able to crack jokes with both the radiologist and receptionist. Not sure what the bad reviews are because I had a wonderful experience today.

Went there on a Thursday morning for an OPG. From arrival till leaving the centre with the OPG image took only 15 minutes. Seemed to be a well organised place.

Have had several Biopsies done here over the past 12 months. Each one has been inconclusive at $672.35 each and still they keep charging me even after my specialist instructed it to be Bulk Billed. The report writing has also been very poor to the stage my specialist has had to contact them for more details. Extremely disappointed and out of pocket unnecessarily. Beware!

My Wife unfortunately has had 2 ultrasounds and 3 biopsies as a result of their unprofessionalism. Her doctor confirmed that the results of these scans and biopsies were extremely poor. He had to contact them on several occasions to get an understanding of their reports due to the lack of information supplied. He instructed them to Bulk Bill several visits due to the previous errors but they still charged us over $600 per visit with still no conclusive results. What a RIP OFF! We are several thousand dollars out of pocket due to their mistakes and refusing to Bulk Bill. They wont be getting one more cent out of me!

Place should update their opening hours. Says it’s opened on Saturday but it wasn’t upon arriving there. Quiet the inconvenience. Should have seen the reviews before going.

I was a bit reluctant to come to I-MED Croydon after reading all the reviews but I decided to walk in anyway. The whole walk in to walk out process took me less than 10 minutes, not to mention I came early and waited for less than 1 minute. Took me around 20 minutes to come there and get back home. Overall good experience with I-MED (if you're with private health insurance you will have to claim with your provider by yourself).

Croydon have called me 10 minutes before my appointment to tell me that they don’t do my procedure. My partner and I had taken the day off for it and they went straight into arse covering mode and listened to my call from 2 weeks ago but never once gave me their email for the referral nor did they ever follow up until right before the appointment. I’m extremely disappointed on how I MED Croydon dealt with the situation

I can’t complain about reception but I’d advise everyone to stay away from this place. I had six general X-rays at a cost of $581 with a refund of $181 from Medicare. I was advised of the cost one hour before appointment leaving no time to change. Go to Capital, they bulk bill and you won’t have to pay a cent. Extremely bad and rude response from clinic after hanging on for 30 mins.

Friendly staff all round. Good service from mri technician. Maybe consider a dressing room with some gowns so patient doesn't have to randomly strip down next to the imaging equipment.

Reading the other reviews here it seems like it is a very hit and miss service though. Possibly something they should look into. Maybe check records to see what the common demoninator was when all the negative reviews were made?

I'd stay as far away from this place as possible. Got charged a huge amount for some simple x-rays. My specialist informed me he requested bulk billing which they refused to do. No one was interested into looking into it further, happy to just take my money and get me out of there.

Receptionist informed me that a DVD or printed images of an ultrasound would be available for my husband to see as the lockdown prevents visitors other than the patient. I was very disappointed to learn that neither of those options would be available, and instead was allocated a very short time ro take video a only 2 still images of our baby.

When we as parents and patients are paying for an ultrasound to be conducted, printed/DVD recorded images should be included.

The radiologist was very professional and diligent, although it's not her fault that there was misinformation shared from the beginning.

After reading the previous reviews I was not looking forward to my visit, but as it is the closest to home I had to due to Stage 4 restrictions. My experience was so positive I felt I had to leave a review so other people won't be put off. Danny, my Radiographer went above and beyond expectations. He was really friendly and kind, explaining each part of the process so I wasn't worried or unsure of anything. He told me exactly how it would make me feel, so there were no surprises. This was really reassuring and totally put me at ease. I also found the reception staff to be pleasant and helpful. All of them should be commended for going to work during a pandemic. Thank you for making my experience so easy during these strange times.

My radiologist was lovely, made me feel at ease even though it’s not always the most comfortable situation. I would give it five stars but reception staff was very average, nothing horrible just could be nicer.

Besides being total ripoff merchants, the staff at front counter could do with some customer service training, even more rude then the staff at Ringwood East I-med.
By the way, having your phone sitting there taking personal texts is ridiculously unprofessional for front office staff
I.e. There greed is out done only by the front counter staffs rudeness.

P. S Don't tell me you pay for the service, I have a 3cm stack of past radiology films that beg to differ.

Reception not really friendly.
Senographer caring, thorough and very compassionate.
I wasn't aware they couldn't see a heartbeat only saw my grandchild to which i simply said I got those dates. The Dr turned and asked me rudely if I was a Senographer, I stated no. Then she turned to my daughter and said that she was sorry but there was no heartbeat anymore. She didn't look at me, it wasn't about me I know.
Not only devastating for my daughter but also for myself as I saw the baby and had no idea the baby passed away until she told my daughter. I was in no way saying I knew more than the senographer considering this was the first time I had seen the baby I got excited to see my grandchild nothing more. My daughter found her comments rude and not warranted. It was a very upsetting and sad experience.
