Went to take my father for an echocardiogram which apparently they can do, however we got told to go to Melbourne Pathology. Most useless medical practitioner I have ever come across and the list isn't a small one.

We had been to i-Med Hoppers crossing this morning for my partners MRI. We were told that $550 for MRI and additional $95 if contrast is required. We agreed and booked the appointment.

Everything went well until the scan was over. Once it is done, they literally chased my partner out of the room despite informing them that she has lower back problem, she couldn't get up quickly as they expected. But they were not ready to listen and kept rushing her. We felt that itself was rude without realising what was coming next would be worse than this.

Once she came out, rashes started appearing on her hand around where they had to needle for contrast. When we checked with the radiologist about that, the radiologist arrogantly said "it is because you scratched it" which my partner never did. She was not willing to even pay attention to what my wife was saying. We had to repeat multiple times about what's happening, she finally brought a nurse to check what's happening.at last, with some moisturiser, the rashes started coming down. All we expected was that compassion and understanding of what their patient is saying. I would have still given four star if the unpleasant experience ended there.

When I went to pay, I was shocked to hear that $550 for mri and $300 for contrast (as against $95 they initially quoted on the phone at the time of booking and on arrival at the reception). When we raised this, both the radiologist and receptionist throwing their attitudes and kept beating around the bush, not telling once that why they said $95 initially and why they didn't let us know when they decided to use the other dye which was three times the cost of the originally quoted one. I don't mind paying the price for the service offered, but it's the blatant lie initially and the arrogant response and attitude for their mistake which costed us more was totally unacceptable, instead a simple apology and an explanation would have settled the issue then and there.

I should have checked the reviews before going there. I had been to few other i-med centres both in Sydney and Melbourne. So, I just assumed that this one will offer similar experience. They proved me wrong and I am not at all surprised that they have 2 stars. Avoid going to this centre unless this is your last resort.

Waited over an hour to be seen for a 2 minute chest X-ray! Rude staff who should've told me I'd be waiting that long
No apology
No warm greeting from radiographer either, no wonder since she knew I was waiting so long

I had Anita yesterday 5/7/23 at the Hoppers crossing iMed centre, she is great at her job. She kept me informed throughout about everything she was doing. ️ Professionalism, patient-centred care ️ ️ communication.

I took my daughter to this place yesterday, but we had a frustrating experience. Despite being the only ones waiting, the reception staff was slow and made us wait for over 20 minutes. They didn't even acknowledge us while we waited, and even worse, my note in the booking was completely ignored. I wouldn't recommend this place and wish I could give it a lower rating than one star.

I believe they are just there to take money. Extremely non professional attitude. Sonographer was in so much hurry that she didn’t gave us any information or details. They are not friendly and patient at all. They just want to make it so quick. I went for my 36 weeks growth scan and i was assuming to have lots of information whereas reality disappointed me. She hardly took 15 minutes and let us go. Didn’t even show us complete baby image. I don’t recommend this place at all. Sorry

Both my babies ultrasounds were done here I had no issues and the techs were kind to me. I have happy memories when I drive past of seeing my kids on the screens here for the first time

My husband had a ct scan at hoppers crossing, the staff were very pleasant, the sister was an absolute angel she could not have been any more amazing, she put his mind at ease. Thanks for your help

The worst imed I found in this place, they are not receive your calls & they won’t give reply of your emails, & radiologist should need more experience, highly recommended pascoevale IMED

Had the absolute worst experience at this place. Came in for a growth scan ultrasound and the sonographer was so rude, blunt and extremely unprofessional. As she was doing the scan, she did not explain what anything was and didn’t point out any important information to myself or my husband. She turned a really exciting moment for us into a dreadful experience. I left in tears. My husband would ask questions and she would bluntly ignore him. I asked her if baby is measuring right on track and she told me my midwife will go over her report for me. I’ve had previous ultrasounds elsewhere and they went through every little detail with me, explaining baby’s body parts, growth, measurements, position etc. I wouldn’t have gone to this place if I wasn’t referred by Werribee mercy hospital. I will definitely not go back and will strongly not recommend anyone else to go!

The worst Imed I found in Melbourne, I will never ever recommend this imed to any of my known one, worst customer service, & they won’t attend your calls always really it’s very frustrating to me

My mother visited I-MED Hoppers Crossing on 29/8/22 for an X-ray and she was traumatised by her interaction with the radiographer. My mother left the clinic in tears, after she was yelled at and spoken to in a rude and degrading manner, and shoved and pushed aside multiple times while in the X-ray room. The radiographer also kicked aside my mothers shoes and once the X-ray was completed she told her to “quickly get dressed and go” and walked out of the room. Instead of the radiographer being gentle, kind and explaining the procedure appropriately like a healthcare worker should, particularly when someone is in a vulnerable state and does not speak English as a first language, is in severe pain and unable to walk properly, rather she was rude, mean and humiliated my mother. Would not recommend this place at all, I should have looked at the reviews prior to booking.

Worst experience, went to Hopper crossing I-Med for my wife's nuchal translucency US but upon arrival we have been told that we can not take child inside the room. We never been told while booking that only 1 person is allowed inside the room. That's so frustrating, where we leave child now? They are very unprofessional. Other radiology did allow child inside but not this one. I don't understand who make this kind of stupid policies.

Wow, so many negative reviews. Well I am here to set the record straight, I have been attending this clinic for many years and I am treated with dignity, respect and honesty. If it's going to be a long wait you are told and you can make an appt.to come back later. Get a grip ppl and don't be so ready to knock everybody or go elsewhere.

If you're anything serious about your health just go to another provider. Any appointment is at least a week away. Your condition whatever it is can get severely worse before you can get an appointment here
